All big games, but this one especially. Hope the rat poison doesn't get them like it seems its gotten our fans.

Home game matters here.
Kentucky will not be effective offensively.

The key is for our offense to find something. I dont know how kentucky will try to attack us.
But if they try to take away the run, i like our chances to run up the score.
We kill man coverage. Monken has no fear attacking it.
We have zone beaters if they drop 5 into coverage. Cover 3 beaters. Cover 2 beaters.

My only concern would have been if they decide to take away the deep shots in coverage. Forcing us to drive 10+ plays drive like Clemson and Arkansas did.
Before you say that we scored 37 on arkansas, the offense only scored 30. And that was with unlimited chances as the arkansas offense did nothing to control clock and momentum. A more talented team than Arkansas (both with defensive talent and offensive time of possession) can shrink that 30 points to 21 or below. And at that point, every crazy bounce or special teams miscue matters.

Good news, Kentucky has injuries on the DL. But that isnt automatic success. I dont know how good their linebackers are. But if they step up, forcing the long drives is the best key to success.

The team will be focused. I’ve begun looking at it this way: If we lose to “X” team that we should beat, then we were never that special to begin with. Special teams don’t lose when they shouldn’t. So far this team has been laser focused in every spot and behaves like a cyborg hell bent on following the directive “Destroy. Win” and I fully expect that to continue.

I’ve been saying it since the Arkansas game and last week confirmed it. THIS TEAM IS DIFFERENT. This team is different than the teams of the past that choked on the big stage. They don’t play down to the level of their competition either.

It’s understandable as a Georgian fan to be nervous. Our experience at the top has come with the some pretty brutal let downs.

KY is not the better team on any level. Lots of things could happen and some may, but I also agree this team is built different.

Our fans were elite against Arkansas at noon. They will be even eliter at 3:30. We have every single advantage in this game.

The only thing I'm nervous about is how fast this season is flying by

Confident enough that I threw us covering into my parlay.

Go Dawgs!

Kentucky didn't make me nervous in 2018 and they don't make me nervous this year. They're good and I really like what Stoops is doing there, but Georgia is the worst matchup possible for their style of play.

Much like Auburn last week, this game is all about how WE play.

If we play well, there’s nothing Kentucky can do to beat us.

Win at the LOS, get pressure on the QB, don’t commit dumb turnovers and handle business on special teams.

Do that and this one won’t be close.

Just remember, they beat Chattanooga by 5pts and were trailing them with 11 min left of the 4th qtr.

That is all you need to know to help you sleep at night for this one.

Without that 95 yard INT at the end, they probably lose that game.

The only game I'm remotely nervous about is @Tennessee and our secondary health.

Take a chill pill, my dude.

Fans are allowed to have fun. This isn't our job, it's meant to be fun and a distraction for us.

I don't think the team will forget their jobs just because we moved up 1 spot in a poll.

I get over confident and cocky is not a good look.....but

UGA is playing lights out and looks to be on a special run this year. Let the fans enjoy all the rat poison they want. We are # 1 for Christs' sake.

I mean its not like you can talk shite when you aren't #1 lol. and UGA's resume is as good or better then anyone else in the country.

I think we send UK home fricking bleeding and broken.

I'm not nervous.

The week before Arkansas, I was confident we would smoke them. Then as the week leading up to the game went on, I was getting more and more nervous. Then we smoked them. We should smoke Kentucky, too.

That said, anything can happen. It's best to not worry so much about those things out of our control and put our trust in the Lord, who is sovereign over all things, including football games.

Our only Achille's Heel at present is we've gotten really thin in the secondary. Kimber and now Tykee Smith out for the season; Speed out again for this game; Chris Smith a "maybe." It's pretty much all on Kendrick, Ringo, Cine, Brini, and now Bullard. Probably with help from newbies Daniels and Lassiter. Well...and Dan Jackson.

That said, Kentucky may have trouble exploiting our secondary so long as our front seven does what it normally does.

The idle week will come at a good time. It would be great to get some people healthy heading into that final SEC stretch of Florida, Missouri and UT.

Kentucky isn't the team to expose this. They want to play bully ball and win games by being more physical up front. It is a good formula for them and has worked.

That is about the worst possible gameplan against this Georgia team.

It is. And I'm sure their coaches will air it out more
