Kublanow and David Andrews both endorsed the hire.

He's one of the best offensive line recruiters in the country. He will recruit these elite prospects up enough to play in the NFL.

I’m going to take Ole Miss fans opinions on anything other than cocktails and the best place to get cold chicken fingers with a grain of salt

Yeah because they liked him as a person. Didn’t have anything to do with football.

Ole Miss players almost had a mini revolt when he was fired. Maybe he can bring Plumlee with him.

At a certain point he’s coaching o line at duke and ole miss. Lack of talent is gonna be an issue at times.

The thing I liked about Pittman is that he actively hunted for extra extra large sum bitches. None of this 280 pound finesse blocking shite. If you weren't a mammoth giant then you were likely tier-2 at best in his book.

I do not want to go back to having an undersized OL because we have an OL coach/recruiter who thinks it's a "skill position" and "technique > size".

I hope Luke is of the same philosophy as Pittman, at least in that regard.

What a load of crap. Ole Miss is an SEC school and he had several nfl linemen.

19- 25th in rushing avg
18- 7th in rushing avg
17- 7th in rushing avg
16- 54th

Two years in top 10 is good.

Yeah I mean I’m not trying to be a downer here, I trust Kirby, but why should I be confident in Luke?

Here's my take. Arkansas and UT fans said Chaney was a terrible hire and would get Kirby fired but he was actually a solid OC. Give Matt Luke a great OL and let's see how he can do.

I thought most thought he was average?

No doubt elite talent will help.

So is Vanderbilt. That doesn't mean anything. Talent is still a problem there.

OL drafted:
Greg Little, Javon Patterson, Rod Taylor, Laremy Tunsil, Fahn Cooper.

Yup, meant he would be Kirby's downfall because he wasn't good enough.

Maybe good wholesome christian boy John Rhys Plumlee prefers his old coach over the hedonist wild immature heathen Lane Kiffin. Plumlee did want to come here once.
