And so it begins, with the game this weekend cancelled, we're going to see who's staying on board.

I knew this would bite us at some point. We recruit all these 5 star kids and they barely get enough snaps during the game to work up a sweat.

This transfer is squarely on Kirby and I totally agree with Jermaine and his father.

The Adams, Johnson and Nolan rotation seemed out of sync a lot the games.

Some games it was all Adams, Nolan kind of fell off a bit this year and Johnson seemed to get plenty of time on the field

Hopefully, it's not like the 2018 season where we lose three 5 stars to transfer. That year sucked.

Go change your tampon. You're bleeding all over the board more than normal

From what I can tell it’s situational. JJ was the all around guy. NS is the up and comer finding his way. AA is like a kamikaze pilot. Hair is on fire but needs to get his weight up to play the run. I’ll feel fine with NS and AA in 2021

before committing, kids know what kind of situation they are getting into. I doubt Kirby tells these guys that they are going to get 90% of snaps. It's just an ultra-competitive environment and there's nobody to blame really.

I am fine with AA and Nolan as well. Johnson was a nice compliment but possibly preventing the other two from "breaking" out at this point.

Ok. Who shouldn't get snaps?

I'd rather lose the 1 year left Juco guy then the 2 5 star cats from the State of GA that have 2 years left.

Isn’t the bigger issue the insistence on gap integrity? The guys feel like they’re being held back and not allowed to run wild after the ball?

To hell with Kirby and his damn elite recruiting getting all those 5 stars! Wtf is he thinking!? From now on we should only go for one 4 or 5 star at each position and fill the rest of the depth with 3 stars so this doesn't happen again.

And here I have been thinking all of my football life that depth was a good thing.

I don't know that it is the number of snaps but what you do on those snaps, if you are worthy of NFL consideration to begin with.

I do love how many guys seem to think that "not a team-oriented player" is going to be considered an asset in the NFL.

Not if he transfers. I love what Dabo does. If a kid throws his name in the portal, Dabo revokes all scholarship privileges immediately.

Dabo has a strict set of principles. I don't know about guys who hit the portal, but I know he doesn't take transfers. He also doesn't let his commits take visits elsewherer. I think he wants you to be 110% committed from day 1 or gtfo.

Dabo basically operates Clemson like a cult by most accounts. It works for some, and not for others. You're either all in, or you're out. With that said, pretty sure they tried like hell to keep Kelly Bryant when he announced he was going to transfer, and when he decided to leave mid-season (after getting demoted) Dabo decided to deny giving him a ring. It's a different kind of environment there.

Good thing he’s a good coach. Sounds like it would get stale in a hurry if the wins stopped coming.
