Am I the only one who can't stand to see this kid on the field? He's awful. For years we've heard from coaches and other players how he wows and amazes in practice and yet I can't think of one instance in a game where he's made a good play, much less a wow play.

A stiff breeze knocks him off his feet. He doesn't make plays in space. And yet he was on the field more than any other RB yesterday?

The early story yesterday was we couldn't get the run game going. Well, a lot of that had to do with the fact that the midget was getting most of the carries.

Cook needs to be a slot receiver. He can motion across and run a jet sweep and can catch the ball well.

Bobo was better at picking RBs.

I will take Chubb, Gurley, Michele, over the odd array of backs we currently have.

Cook is fine, the problem is he has yet to be utilized properly by anyone. He needs to be given toss sweeps, screens, quick outs, wheel routes, etc. Basically, get him in space! But we continue to run him up the centers arse for some reason.

And idk what game you watched but as far as the run game not getting going, you realize zamir didn't do shite either in tbe first half? Our right side of the OL was atrocious the first half and imo contributed to Dwan looking shitty as well. Once we yanked condon things got a lot better

I take it you didn’t notice the pass protection Cook provided. Cook need to be in on every passing down. The offense will get better.

Agreed. Cook got the lions share of reps because we were in 3rd and long a ton. He has a lot of things that he needs to improve upon. But he seems to handle the third and long role very well.

We don’t use him properly. He needs to be in the slot or given outside runs. Running him up the gut will result in what we saw yesterday.

The play I hated most is the one where he slid instead of lowering his head and getting the first down.

If we only run him outside, we are telegraphing our plays and he will be ineffective.
SEC defenses arent dumb. He needs to be a complete back if he is lined up alongside the QB.

Don't think it's an either of situation and I'm pretty sure we maybe tried him on the perimeter once in the 1st half Saturday.

Let's just hope McIntosh, Milton and/or Daijun Edwards continue to progress so we have more that we can bring to the table than Zamir.

I just don't see Cook as a complete running back at this point. He really does seem to be a guy who might make more impact as a full time receiver.

All of that said, the offensive line needs to gel after the loss of two NFL picks, not to mention the lack of spring practice.

I would like all 1st round RBs and one dude selected early 2nd rd. Why not add Swift as the other 1st rounder?

UGA should only have 1st round RBs now.

He's literally the smallest guy on the field....surely you're not defending his usage because of his blocking ability? And even taking your point for more than it's worth, that doesn't explain his usage on first and second downs.

'member when we stole Cook from FSU? How's his class at FSU looking now? That was a very poor recruiting year for FSU and I think, FSU hype coupled with Dalvin's success, we convinced ourselves that bringing him to UGA was a recruiting coup. It wasn't.

gimme Zeus. gimmer Mc. Gimme Milton.

Cook has the balance of a newborn fawn. Guy just looks awkward and afraid of contact. He has next to no vision and I don’t think we are utilizing him correctly at all.

As a matter of fact, we didn’t run a sweep until the 3rd quarter I believe and picked up like 15 yards. He needs to be used like Hardman was.
