Hit Bryce one or two REALLY good times. Made him very uncomfortable in the pocket

Blitzed a lot, avoided turnovers, and made adjustments to how their OL blocked our DL guys.

Straight blitz. No more stunts where the blitzing LB runs from right to left and then gets there late.
We used to have that blitz package where all four LBs came up to the line and showed blitz, then two dropped back at the snap into coverage and the offense had no idea where the blitz was coming from. I think we sacked Baker Mayfield four or five times with that. Haven't seen that the last few years.

Avoided turnovers and took advantage of ones given.

Didn’t miss a field goal.

We had two picks and a fumble recovery at Michigan and didn’t score on any of them.

2 things really and they go hand in hand.
1. Get to BY and hit him hard and as often as possible.
2. Keep contain and make him stay in the pocket or escape to the inside where LBs are waiting.
Don’t let him get outside on scramble drills.

Tried something novel and untested - scoring more points than Bama.

Or even more novel, the defense holding them to less points that we score.
The ghost of Erk needs to speak to the defense.

That was very frustrating.

I forget who the RB was but remember we were about to hit him on the outside and he pitched a super quick lateral to the RB further outside? He did that same thing against Cincy, which leads me to believe it's intentional rather than instinctive. If BY gets outside, our LB either needs help or absolutely has to be ready for that pitch.

Held BRobinson under 100 and one of our TBs rushes for 130. Total rush yards for UGA 275

Don't need to do that.Offense moved the ball fine and if anything, we need more ball control to help out the defense.Dont wanna see our guys gassed again.

The key is to not let them hit us in the nose and close our eyes and start swinging like a spaz…

It's not like we didn't defend that nonsense for years against GT.

I like going up-tempo after a big play or when you clearly have the D on their heels, but these days it's becoming more and more common for a defensive player to get hit by a sniper to shut it down, so it's almost like you are better off not doing it, not giving them a free time out to regroup.

Agree with this.

Those pitches absolutely are intentional, and he does it with forward passing as well when scrambling. Even after the first one I saw, there's no reason the RB would be standing there unless it was drawn up in some way as an option on the play.

He's like Trae Young with those pitches. They are dangerous though, and at some point that cute shite is going to frick up, hopefully against us.
