I think it’s only fair at this point to see what JT gives us and determine if he’s the answer or not for not only this year but next year. Might as well get him up to speed with SEC defenses, which may be more similar to the D’s he saw out west the way all the analysts were talking yesterday.

That's what I am trying to say. I don't think JT is healthy enough to play. Yea, UGA cleared him, but I think the word is that he himself (or his own personal doctors) have not.

I think if JT was truly ready to rock you would have seen him out there already.

That's what I think. So support Bennett and enjoy this season for what it is.

This is my guess.

Bama fans have commented that he had a noticeable limp in warmups.

I wonder if shutting him down would have sped up the rehab. He appears to be working with scout team. Good enough to do some things but not mentally ready to take the next step

There were pictures of JT with no brace on a practice. Hard to figure out what is going on with him

It’s all very odd.

It's not as odd as putting Fields in for one play before jerking him out and the doing the same over and over.

It's not as strange as putting Fields in to run one telegraphed trick play on 4th and 12 with everything on the line.

UGA is two or three years, minimum, from having good enough QB play to be a playoff team. Gotta start by letting someone who has that kinda upside get live snaps. Maybe we don’t have anyone with that kinda upside on the roster.

I wouldn't say to be a 'playoff team'. Despite the QB situation Georgia is still easily a top 6/7 team in the country.

But you can't expect to beat a team like Bama, Ohio St, or Clemson with Stetson Bennet or Dwan Mathis. No one knows about JT Daniels. If he's healthy next year maybe, but we just don't know.

Why is Beck never discussed? Is he just taking up a scholarship?

We are already a playoff level team. Just not a playoff winner type team.

We haven’t played two good halves together all year.

No one knows about Mathis either. We do know he beat out Bennett in practice.

It needs to be Daniels or we need to actually stick to a game plan that can work with Bennett. For everyone saying Bennet blew it, the coaches put him in a shite position. We went down 27-24 and Kirby and Monken started throwing the ball like we were down 20 points. Our running game was working. This is a very different game if we stick to running the ball and keep their offense off the field.

Kirby needs to level up in terms of offensive play calling or we are always going to be the bride’s maid. His in game coach decisions are becoming straight up baffling. There’s no reason to have Bennett throw the ball that much. Period.

We picked a guy with d1 size. Doesn’t necessarily mean he beat Bennett out.

Point still stands. There probably aren’t 4 better teams than uga. Just like in 2017 and 2018.

Come on dude. He won the starting job. Don't hypothesize with absolutely zero evidence that he didn't earn the start.

He was given the job because he was the only legit d1 option we had available.

Given? Huh?

So you think he didn't work for it? He didn't perform well enough in practice to earn a start? I'm sure you have a quote from the staff supporting this theory.

I never say this, but we'll have to agree to disagree.

He worked for it. Doesn’t disprove my take. We know Bennett wasn’t even part of the competition. Coaches told him that early in fall camp.
