So in addition to hundreds of scouts, Ohio St, UGA scouts, he's also the QB that Donnan wouldn't stop talking about in practices, he's also the one who was QB1 to start the season, but all of those people are wrong, because you saw him play 1.5 quarters of football on TeeVee.

got it.

Dwan was the #311 recruit in the nation.

D3 football is filled with QBs with rifle arms and a limited ability to process the football field while people are running in all directions and people are trying to tackle them.

Chad Pennington, tim couch, Drew Brees, have all made a living with what's between their ears not so much their arm....

The former five-star prospect shed the bulky knee brace last week in practice and went from primarily participating as the scout-team quarterback during game weeks to sharing second-team reps during the first practice of the bye week.

Sounds like Daniels' knee has been bothering him up until this week. Something to keep an eye in the next week or so.

Lol, again, yes. There have been much bigger recruits than him who were busts. I’m not even saying he’s a bust yet. I’m just saying it happens a lot. He looked like a fish out of water against Arkansas.

You might not have been following ball yet but Christian Lemay was a much much bigger recruit than Mathis. That kid was a unanimous top 50 recruit and like a .97 Composite 247 Rating — he couldn’t crack our 3rd string. Transferred to Jacksonville State and didn’t START. Lol. Scouts and coaches are wrong A LOT.

Ron Powlus was HS player of the year and as high of a rated qb as there was. Total bust in college and still got drafted for potential. Ok not sure what that has to do with anything but just reminded me.

justin fields played more than 1.5 quarters here and at many times looked lost and made bad decisions, didn't see things, etc. Was he ever declared a bust?

D’Wan Mathis (RS Fr) stats:
8/17 55 Yards 0 TDs 1 INT
11 carries - 6 yards
17.2 QBR

Justin Fields (True Freshman) stats:
27/39 328 Yards 4 TDs 0 INTs
42 Carries - 266 Yards 4 TDs
173.2 QBR

You are really, really bad at this bro lol. Idk what points you’re trying to make haha

Scouts are wrong a lot. For every Tim Tebow and Trevor Lawrence 5 Star that kills it there are 1,000 4 stars like Mathis who don’t do shite. So yes, scouts are wrong. A lot.

So you are saying he's a bust after saying you aren't saying he's a bust after you already did call him a bust.

Got it.

After 1.5 quarters of football.

Lol you are saying “oh so these scouts from Ohio State and Georgia are wrong?” Like they are infallible lol. I was saying, yes, they are wrong all the time. And comparing D’Wan Mathis who so far looks like a chicken with his head cut off to Justin Fields is one of the most idiotic analogies I’ve ever heard.

Do you “got it” now?

Isn’t the bust label reserved for highly rated recruits?

OSU is a bust machine at qb, they just have a lot of them go through there. They get lucky based on numbers
