Stetson wasn’t the same in the UF game after he got hurt on the TD pass. He was playing fine up to that point.

What? Do you not remember that he separated his shoulder on the TD pass and went back in the game?

No, I forgot about the injury.

Thanks for clarifying.

I seem to remember people calling for his head at times during the season but looking at his numbers he really only had a few bad games. He did throw some picks though.

We are very lucky to have a guy like Bennett to come off the bench and play like he does.

Stet had some nice deep balls yesterday. Does he have more arm strength this year compared to last? I know RG3 was saying his arms were much bigger this year compared to lasts. Also, we seemed to roll him out of the pocket several times yesterday. I know he did it a few times yesterday, but the offense looked extremely comfortable with him.

Pretty much all his passes were accurate and to the correct read.

If Daniels had played as usual and threw 5 TDs against UAB, would you be gushing over him?

If he’d have hit those deep routes in stride like Bennett did….absolutely.

If Daniels had one of the best QB statlines ever, like SB had, yes we would be gushing over him and he'd be in the top 5 for Heisman odds.

So why do you suppose Bennett isn't? I mean, the season is still early? Why not go with him until he loses? IF he loses?

I'm not understanding your previous declaration on SB was beforehand.

SB is a legit Heisman candidate if he played for Hawaii, Boise, Liberty, etc. He's that elusive and good at the deep balls.

He's not getting you those points and yards vs. D1 comp consistently. Burton and Smith were damn near 10 yards open. The stud Bowers took that thing almost 90 yards to the house.

All that to say Bennett deserves his place in the record books for the masterful 1st half. He has that playbook as his 3rd eye. Should be a good QB/offensive coach someday.

SB IS more talented than Beck and VG...as of this moment. That's why Kirby started him. Beck simply isn't ready...neither is VG.

I don’t think he’s necessarily more talented physically but more so he’s a veteran with a lot more playing time and experience.

He's a far better choice than Beck at this time. JMHO.

Becks utter lack of care after the pick 6 has me writing his arse off. Its not practice son, you threw an int, you get after the guy with the ball. Maybe can transfer to GaSouthern or Mtsu.

No loligagging.

Agreee, that is almost an unrecoverable offense in my book.

Unfortunately, the more he plays, the less Beck and Vandragriff get to benefit from being in the fire. Leaving us to begin next season with no QB with significant playing time.

All of that said, Beck has had a reputation of taking risks with tight ball placements that he doesn't have good control on and he apparently isn't anything like the obsessive "student of the game" that Daniels is. Maybe Beck still has some maturing to do but Vandagriff versus Stockton is going to be the really interesting situation in the next couple of years.

Carson Beck just got 22 snaps.
If he was behind JT Daniels, we would be ecstatic about him getting 22 snaps in a blow out game.

This is a joke. I guess there’s a reason a new site is dominating UGA football now. It’s not hard to do that vs air moron. I can tell you checked out at the REC level of football

Stetson has zero talent of the SEC level. His knowledge and other attributes have helped. But dude wouldn’t start at Vandy without an injury
