Gonna be tough. AU has a hella homefield advantage. JMO but their fans are much louder and into the game moreso than ours....

Georgia has always played well at Jordan-Hare. No reason to think they won't play well there this year.

I keep hearing people talk about the loss to SC. It was a stinker, no doubt. But, as badly as Georgia played, it still took a pick six and missed field goals to send the game to OT.

Our last trip there says otherwise, but that Auburn team was much better than this one. I do think their DL is going to give us huge problems, especially on those infuriating runs up the gut. This might be a game to open up the passing game a little because our OL is very good in pass blocking. I would like to see Swift used on passes out of the backfield this week.

Will be a very tough game. It worries me that they will be coming off a bye. We must come out early and put points on the board and take advantage of every red zone trip. I expect Nix to play a little above his baseline at home but I am very hopeful our D will shut down their offense. I think field position will be huge...need big plays from Camarda and Blaylock.

Yes, last time it was pretty miserable. Historically Ga has played well there.

When that Auburn team beat Ga and Ala I thought they were probably the best team in the country. After Ga beat them in the SECCG I knew all the air was out of their balloon and sure enough they did not show up against UCF and then we had to listen to those people for the next year.

AU’s pass defense is average. Fromm should have a good game & that will facilitate the run.

GA’s D > AU’s D
Fromm > Nix

We take care of business.

Our coaches need to emphasize that our season is riding on this game. Win and the SEC East is ours. Lose and even winning the SEC means we miss the playoff.
Win by 10 and the Committee moves us to #3. Then all rides on the SECCG.
The coaches need to plan for this game like their jobs depend on winning.

Agree, if you go into JHS and beat a top 11 team by double digits it would interesting to see if the committee would pick UGA #3

Fromm needs at least one away game against the West that isn't a complete disaster. I hope that he gets it Saturday.

Bo Nix has been god awful against good defenses and this is his toughest opponent.

I'm not overconfident, but UGA is a better team on offense and on defense with more experience and many fewer real weaknesses. UGA moved the ball against UF better than Auburn, and even though the Auburn pass rush is better than UF it's not much better. Those two overall defenses are comparable.

Barring bonehead plays by the Dawgs, UGA will score 24+ (even with multiple field goals) and Auburn will have real trouble getting over 14.

Trend wise the UGA defense and offense have played better and better over the past 3 weeks. The offense has been good in both phases, but has stalled before the endzone because of miscues and penalties, but they've been improving. Over the same span the UGA D has been the best in the country (and they're improving) with these talented Freshmen coming into their own exactly when you'd expect.

Bo Nix has shown little if any improvement.

I'm having trouble figuring why a spread of 10 is unreasonable.
