Because generally a tourist trap is just that. A trap.
My rule of thumb is that if its on Trip Advisor or Yelp, avoid it.

Article posted a short time ago about police being called on Dawg fans at St Elmos for too much chanting, singing, and being generally drunk, obnoxious Georgia fans.
Police called on excited UGA fans
Odd...who would call the police in this situation?

I know that 680 The Fan producer Brian Hoyt was at St Elmo's last night and is known for stirring up crowds at bars, it was probably part of a 680 radio prank.

I don't know about all that. We found the best BBQ place in Chattanooga (The Hickory Pit in East Ridge) thanks to Trip Advisor.

Indianapolis is a shithole
Funny, you never hear people say they’re going to retire and move up North. This is why.

Indianapolis has a staekhouse and a monument, and its 20 degrees outside. Not sure we they dont have the national championship game there every year. Such a great idea!

I may very well. I love the Great Lakes life. Spend a bunch of time on Erie every summer. Tired of Atlanta. I dig Midwestern values.

Remember the 2014 Super Bowl in the open air East Rutherford, New Jersey stadium? They dodged a bullet on that one-a winter storm hit 6 hours after the game was completed.

That was the one when the 9/11 truth guy crashed the postgame press conference.
Going to be interesting to see what happens to that game this year. I read theyre making contingency plans to move it to Dallas, if the commies of California go full dystopia over omicron hysteria

He was there. You see him in the video, but he actually didn't start the chant. But he did help finish it.

Funniest thing heard on a Delta Jet Every concrete american mega city has one or two of those restaurants. The one everyone says you just have to eat at if you ever visit. The one that will be hard to get a reservation at whenever the big sales convention or some other event is in town. Because everyone wants to be able to say, “Oh yes, We ate at so and sos. It was delightful. You absolutely MUST go there one day” St Elmos is that one for Indianapolis. They make a lot of money off of the tourists. And there’s nothing wrong with that. I have gone there while up here on biz over the years. Before yelp. It is not hipster or trendy. More like an old school steakhouse. It’s not the best steakhouse, but great for what it is as far as good food and a good spot to do business. I’m sure it was hard to get into this week, but I was not going either way.
