There were a lot of Dawgs on my flights. Quite a few were in First Class. This Bama dude gets on the plane and yells “Roll Tide” . It was followed by a Dawg yelling “Roll your arse to the back of the plane”. We are living in great times. Go Dawgs.

Lot of Dawg fans up there? Wonder how we will represent

It’s been 2-1 Dawgs easy just about everywhere I have been. Cars on the way up, Louisville one night, and yesterday downtown. Current downtown hotel is more than 2-1.
The SEC championship was 65-35 (at least).
None of them will be playing QB so don’t care but no chance we are outnumbered if it turns ugly.
Looking at the fan base, I can see why Saban would be concerned with NIL.

The Alumni association had a video where the Captain of the plane was telling everyone the details of the flight and ended not just with a "Go Dawgs," but revealed he was a member of the 1980 NC team. I'll see if I can find the link.

Flight into Louisville yesterday was ALL UGA. One Bama couple and one poor Auburn fella trying to get home to Indy.
Driving up 65 to Indy yesterday evening was probably 4:1 Georgia tags/paraphernalia to Alabama ones. The chophouse that I had dinner last night was packed with UGA fans, very few Bama fans.
Not sure what the stadium will look like, but it sure seems like Dawgs are making up 2/3 of the travel contingent.

Bama fans are used to winning and have won 6 national championships in 15 years so not surprising.

From what I have seen so far it should be 4 to 1

JESUS, the meteorologist for channel 8 in Indy is fricking stacked. She’s a lady that I would take to nice steak dinner.

Apparently the bomb threat was an idiot trying to cut a 12 hour line to see one of thee concerts or something to that affect.

It’s wasn’t very secure. We walked right down a side street and got in no security.

Indianapolis is a shithole!

Atl, San Fran and New Orleans are shitholes. Indy is just cold and generic.
Everyplace we have been is clean and friendly. Tons of bars and restaurants.
I would walk around here way before any of those cities. Tons of restaurants within a mile of stadium and way less homeless folks.

I just watched a video of Georgia fans taking over and calling the Dawgs at the famous Indy tourist trap steakhouse. And somebody actually called the cops on them
Hahaha
Hahaha

St Elmos isn’t a tourist trap, bit not the best place here either.

Yeah. The video showed the place full of locals and foodie hipsters. And not wall to wall tourists in college football trademark garb. Sike. It was wall to wall tourists

Calling Atlanta a shithole and comparing it to N.O.is a nonstarter.
New Orleans wishes it was half as nice as Atlanta

You gotta give us a name, man. We can help you with pics if you'll give us a name.

Literally every bar and restaurant here right now is wall to wall tourists.

Every concrete american mega city has one or two of those restaurants. The one everyone says you just have to eat at if you ever visit. The one that will be hard to get a reservation at whenever the big sales convention or some other event is in town. Because everyone wants to be able to say, “Oh yes, We ate at so and sos. It was delightful. You absolutely MUST go there one day”
St Elmos is that one for Indianapolis. They make a lot of money off of the tourists. And there’s nothing wrong with that. Why is peter buck so sensitive about eating with the common tourists?
