what was seen in the App St game

this is where you aren't going to be taken seriously by anybody. Eason played 8 plays, not pass attempts...8 total PLAYS in that game. That is less than irrelevant.

We already moved from a downhill pro-set to more of a spread by the time Fromm came in, Fromm just benefited from it. Watch it again, we were spread out when Eason was in on that 3rd series when he got injured. Some people have speculated (absolutely no idea if it's accurate or not) that we wanted to first see if we could impose our physical will on app state to begin with. Turns out we didn't, so the Plan B was to go more spread, and you can see when Eason started that drive that's what look we showed. He got hurt and we brought in Fromm, who continued in that set.

Personally it's pretty clear that both EAson and Fromm are both much more comfrotable in a shotgun set. Eason didn't get to start the whole game like that, Fromm did.

And I acknowledged this, can't help who the opponent is. Unfortunately this is the only sample that we have from Eason this year to see how much improvement he's made over the offseason.

Well hopefully with Eason returning to practice today that means he will be back in the next week or two. Regardless of who ththey starter is, good competition is always good throughout the week during practice.

Common sense would tell us a sophomore would have that under control more so than a guy that hasn't even played an SEC game yet.

That comment would make sense if all we knew was that one QB was a freshman and one QB was a sophomore. The fact is that we've seen Fromm throw and run the offense better than Eason ever has.

We've never seen Eason run the offense as a sophomore. The coaches saw it all of camp and determined that he ran it better.

seemed to me that Eason was uncomfortable.

Would you be comfortable, the first few snaps, after playing with that Offensive Line last year? I know I wouldn't be. He's gonna have nerves, it was the first game of the season. Did you not see Tom Brady get owned in his 1st game this year? I do not want to go through another year with a true freshman QB again right now. If smart thought Fromm should start over Eason, then he would have started game 1.

Not he hasn't and there's not one shred of evidence to suggest otherwise.

Please don't bring up Eason's 8 snaps this year. It's beyond pathetic.

His eight snaps this year were pretty pathetic. Maybe he'll come back and be what everyone thought he would be. Maybe he won't. While he's recovering, I like what I've seen out of Fromm.

Fromm is it now but the future belongs to Fields if he becomes a Dawg.

You literally only support the next QB who can replace our current one. FOH.

Read Seth Emerson's piece from after that game... The "tempo" you saw had next to nothing to do with Fromm v. Eason, rather that some catches were made. When Fromm threw an incomplete pass, the time to the next play was the same as Eason. Chaney dialed up easy throws, Fromm made them (to his credit), and it moved the offense forward. There's nothing to say that Eason doesn't do the same thing were Chaney to make the same adjustments. I think Fromm throws a better short/intermediate ball from what we've seen thus far... I'm still in wait and see mode overall though. Nothing says Eason *can't* do the same, but we haven't seen him do it yet.

People who think that Eason has a chance to perform should replay last year's Ole Miss game. I've never seen any UGA QB who was more pathetic than that.

Was that the game where our receivers dropped 3 straight passes in the endzone?

The only time I thought Eason looked awful was the South Carolina game when he was 5/17 passing. Even Muschamp himself said in the postgame that we threw it 17 times too many.

. Grantham is coming after that arse. He would love nothing more than to f* us up at home at night.

All we got to do is fail to get any yardage on first and second down...stay at 3rd and 8 or more all night and we score 70 points.......
