Made 24 combined FGs in the last 2 games. 3 made shots for every 10 minutes on the clock, that's shockingly bad. Frustrating that every game we struggle giving up OREB, we turn the ball over twice as much as our opponent and we get behind at halftime. Trailed at the half in 17 of our 18 SEC games. Hoping next year is a total change of the page with new talent coming in and year 2 with the staff but have to admit the lack of progress and the blowout nature of so many of our games has me a little worried.

all we have to do is beat Mizzou, Auburn, South Carolina, then either UF or LSU and we are in the SECCG!!!!!

FYI - we play Missouri tomorrow (3/13) at 7pm EST. If we win, we would go to play Auburn on Thursday 30 mins after the UF/Arky game (1est) concludes, which would be around 3:20-3:30est

i figured id be more active in this thread per usual but there is nothing of note to care about. i've watched it all, but it's a huge waste of time that i regret. i honestly hope we lose and that i can be done caring

It's been pretty much all downhill since January minus a glimmer here and there.
I'm just ready for this year to be over, but couldn't be more excited for next year. 3 top 100 players (including #1) coming in next year to go along with Clax and a hopefully improved Crump/Harris/Hammonds could be a tourney team.

Major disappointment if we are not a tourney team next year. With Edwards and Claxton we will have the talent. Need to see significant improvement from the staff in year 2.

i would temper the expectations. it's gonna be a battle. claxton, edwards, and hammonds is a legitimately solid trio. the rest of the team will have its share of flaws, but at least tyree and jordan harris should be effective shooters.
i certainly wouldn't be expecting to rely on freshmen besides edwards (remember crump and harris were similarly heralded. it takes time for a lot of those guys), but it would be awesome if they were productive early on.

Odd thing is, we could play well enough to beat any of these teams, as well as lose to any of them by 20+

That’s still one of my favorite behind the scenes documentaries.....
What they did to make that tournament continue was amazing
Best was the President and AD at tech offering up anything, but then didn’t have keys to the arena and had to wake a maintenance guy up at like 2am
