Source: #OleMiss HC Lane Kiffin met with Georgia QB JT Daniels and WR Jermaine Burton today in Athens. Both players are in the portal and I am told they see themselves as a "package deal".
Would be a massive get for Ole Miss if Kiffin can pull this off.

What if Burton is just seeing who's interested and what else is out there? Just because he's in the portal doesn't mean he can't undo that. Maybe he's just looking around and kicking tires. He could still stay. Maybe we need to mount a campaign to try and
get him to change his mind.

I would think we’re waiting until closer to spring practice to announce any portal moves. Kendrick and Smith didn’t announce until March last year.

So I just realized that Jermaine Johnson II, who transferred from us to FSU prior to last season, is projected between picks 10-15 in the first round on all the Big Boards out there.
Dude apparently balled out at FSU. 11.5 sacks.
Not that we needed him, but it’s pretty crazy we lost a guy of that caliber and didn’t even feel it.

Our 2019 defense is gonna be one of those depth charts that is crazy to look back at it in a couple of years.
