Doesn't Bobo have some kind of medical issue? Maybe that's why he's stepping down?

He has neuropathy, a nerve disease in the feet and lower legs. he has severe pain, like stepping on needles, and numbness in the feet. Common in diabetics. I have it, but very mild. By the end of the day my feet feel like they fell asleep on me. By morning they are fine. Bobo obviously has a more severe case.

Take it with a grain of salt as always, but there are a few people on other paid forums saying he is coming back in some form to UGA. Even saw one say it was a done deal a few weeks back.

I’m not sure how you handle this if Kirby wants to hire him. Can’t fire Coley on the eve of the SEC Championship and, if we win, you sure can’t fire him going into the playoffs.

What if we win it all with Coley? You still fire him?

Some of my other comments were tongue in cheek. We have the staff we’ll have for 2019. We could have co-coordinators in 2020.

Any of them proven to have inside info in the past, that you know of?

Someone is going to get a heck of a play caller and recruiter from Coach Bobo. Unfortunately, it didn’t workout at CSU but wasn’t because CSU couldn’t score. Coach Muschamp better scoop him up in a hurry. Great fit at SC with ties to SEC & staff familiarity.

I love the PittBoss but if the choice is between Coley with and Bobo without, I know which way I’d go.

How in the hell would they know this other than either wishful thinking or trolling...

It was pretty clear for a while that there was a high likelihood of Bobo losing his job. I’m sure there’s always lots of back channeling and feelers etc in these situations.

It's always possible. Bobo didn't burn any bridges leaving so that's a good thing. The only people who know are the players involved, and they aren't talking.

Haven’t heard much about his rare autoimmune disease that kept him from being able to walk for a while..or what actual disease it was?

The players won’t know either. Bono’s agent worked a reduced buy out from $5m to just under $2m which means he likely already had an opportunity(s) negotiated. OC salaries are to the point where he could cut a deal to make this split make sense. Negotiating the buy out clean this way allows Bobo to make a clean move to an open spot.

Or, he just wanted out and some time to get better. We shall see.

The CSU AD was hired after Bobo was already there. He stated last spring that this season needed to show improvement or changes would be made.

Mason is angling for an SEC Network gig so he’s trying to play the impartial observer. I got one would absolutely love to see him do a film room breakdown segment each week; dude’s meat and potatoes analysis and breakdown of routes and coverages is fascinating

Depends on how we win. If the D holds everyone under 21 points, you can still fire him.

There are other OCs that are comparable to Bobo. Pittman is the best in CFB @ what he does. He's the only irreplaceable assistant at UGA.
