When I see Kirby going a full season supporting a non-local kid who doesn't fit his mold - I'll believe it. His QB management record is shaky until proven otherwise.

Given that the 3 most likely starters next year are Stetson (if he returns), BVG or Gunner…you are going to be waiting a while.

I can’t see Kirby playing Caleb over those guys.

If Kirby wouldn't start Caleb Williams over Stetson Bennett, it would prove that he's out of his mind or a complete moron. But I really doubt this dilemma will play out. Williams has been rumored to be more likely to Southern Cal, since their starter has left for Pitt following an injury-riddled, mediocre season and Williams' coach is now out there.

As far as Bennett, either way it would be downright embarrassing for him to return and be a 25 year old QB when it's clear he's hit the ceiling...there's no big NFL dream awaiting. But if Bennett did return and Williams was to come to UGA, Williams isn't going to do so in order to sit around while a 5-9 scoutie starts.

Why would anyone not want Williams to come to Athens?!? He’s the playmaker we’ve been missing at the position

Kirby definitely did not like his attitude of wanting a real chance at starting. I suspect he was too "uppity" for Kirby.

I’m hoping that your racial overtones here and talking about how certain QBs don’t fit his “mold” are accidental. Because it would be disgusting and stupid to somehow think CKS has some racial motivation when determining who starts at which positions.

He very much has racial overtones, not even thinly guised.

Mathis got pulled after one game and was never given a chance or seen again
I saw him take a massive shite on the field in Jacksonville after Stetson fricked up his shoulder. Does that not count?

There’s no room for logic or facts in this discussion…..it’s all about feelings and what certain folks wish would happen. Reality isn’t a factor.

Next we’ll hear about how we should’ve let Mathis start 6 games so he could live up to his “potential”.

Kind of like the new guy that hasn’t done shite but wants to tell everyone how it should be done and get paid the same as proven producers.

It’s a loser trait.

Has he even lived up to this potential in the sun belt or whatever shite league he’s now in?

I would like some real intel on how BVG is doing in practice. Kirby has given him kudos in the press but then there is post saying he is struggling.

He lost his spot at Temple during a decent season, with a lot of turnovers and quit the team during the season. Have not heard where he ended up.

Both can be true. Kirby isnt going to be negative on 5* qbs and inam sure he has come along way since he has been here.

Fitting Kirby's mold isn't a racial thing. But he seems to relate better to certain players with certain backgrounds, more so than others.

Well hell yes I definitely would not be opposed to Caleb starting at UGA.
