It’s a labor of love and has become a ritual of sorts for me each Spring. I’ll get around to a roster breakdown and schedule in the OP eventually

Updated the first two posts with the season schedule and a position/player breakdown.
Going through it all, reaffirms for me that we are going to be a very solid squad this year. How solid depends on where the rotation takes us but the sheer depth, experience, and age of this team is going to be tough for anyone to deal with and we shouldn't be undone so easily by injuries this season as we were last year.
Too, this appears to be a very favorable schedule (at least on the front end). Only 6 ranked matchups as of now which is enough to move the needle on RPI but not so much that we are facing a murderer's row of the conference. We get #9 Florida, #4 Miss State, and #3 Vandy all at home (#19 Tennessee and #8 LSU on the road).
Non-Con slate has Tech as our stiffest competition (their lineup is nasty) with everyone else ranging from ho-hum to pesky but beatable.

I've gone to hundreds of baseball games in Athens but don't think I've gone to an away game, how do tickets work? If I call the uga ticket office are there a few dozen uga tickets together in away venues? Or do I just need to call the other team's and get one and sit amongst the regular crowd?

Baseball America’s preseason field of 64 has us as the #14 seed, hosting Tech, Ga Southern, and Mercer

About exactly what I was thinking. Going to come down to avoiding injuries and taking that extra game or two on the road vs the stacked SEC. Need to just make sure we take care of business against the early season games against the cupcakes

Might be a dumb question. But any good apps that actually keep accurate scores. I use the Score normally but I don’t see College Baseball on there
