Wagner gives up a leadoff single in the 2nd but retires the next 3 in order with 2 Ks and a ground out to 2B

4-1 Dawgs

almost like the announcers have been reading my mind the last few weeks...

this turned into a rebuilding year. Cant just reload after losing those talented pitchers.

pitching suffered from injuries before season and during.

Lost best hitter a week ago.

Bulldogs still in the conversation though.

nothing going for the dawgs... single, followed by double play and a pop out to the bat boy.

4-1 headed to the 5th

Really pulling for Woods, a little more age and experience and he’s gonna be tough.

That inside fastball low is working for us.

Woods and Sullivan both should be really good for us over the next couple of years. Wagner has some good stuff, just hasn’t figured out how to locate it well. Pitching won’t be our problem next year.

How many fricking times are our guys gonna swing at that same pitch? I've had the game on and am catching what I can but every time I look up were striking or swinging at that breaking ball. Goodness gracious

Top of the 8th inning and we have a 1st baseman in RF and a 3B at 1st and of course there are problems.

Good job on the defensive substitutions Stricklin.

Also no reason for Harris to even be near this game tonight, especially when Woods is lights out. Lets take away two of our four best pitchers out night one when there wasnt even a need.

Wagner was getting better the more he threw. Should of left him in longer. Keep the arms!

Wagner I’ve got no problem going away from, he is usually good for 2-3 innings before he unwravels. Plan from the get go was to pitch both him and Woods. Harris is a curious switch in the 8th

For as much as we are hailed for our pitching under Stricklin the past 3-5 years, he certainly has no clue how to use a pitching staff.

I still dont understand how LSU has 8 RH batters and we have thrown 3 LH pitchers tonight.
