OP hasn't been updated in two months. Next year we need someone else doing this. Even if there isn't daily updates.... to go over two months is neglectful and lazy. It is piss poor, to be honest.

Up until the last week, there has been very little to update/report frankly... Recruiting news has been very light for UGA for a while. Fortunately, things are trending the right direction momentum wise as we head to the scavenger hunt. Biggest hole is going to be the same thing it has been - DL recruiting is not at the same standard as the rest of the program.

Getting upset about OP updates in a thread that is probably one of the most active on this board just seems silly...

That’s almost as bad as the people who had been complaining about our recruiting class up until a couple weeks ago.

But deeprig is going to find every excuse to say something about me when I’m not doing things the way he wants, despite not contributing to this thread at all so...

ETA: if you wanted an update in the last couple months, feel free to just ask.

That was enjoyable to watch. We'll need that GIF in October.

That’s a wild stat and makes sense when you think about it in retrospect.

There was a noticeable drop off during those years when a starter went down because they lacked quality depth, and on multiple occasions each season more athletic DLs could control a game.

This is becoming less of a problem now. Having guys like Mays, Hill and Salyer on the roster is a big reason why UGA was in contention for a championship late last year despite several injuries across the line.

I wish we'd give Pittman a spot bonus for this excellent work. Hate to ever lose him. Every good thing originates because of our strong offensive line.

This weekend is the big summer recruiting event. Was a scavenger hunt last year, not exactly sure what it will be this time around, but something similar is a good guess.

Kelee Ringo coming back AGAIN.

If someone more in touch with things than me were to rank our odds of getting one of the three 5* backs (Evans, Milton, Lloyd), how would they rank them?

Lloyd - 70% (UGA)

Milton - 10% (Bama, LSU or OSU)

Evans - 2% (Texas with his OT buddy)

If I had to guess, I would rank it:
1. Lloyd
2. Milton
3. Evans

I would be happy with any of the three.

Here is a cursory breakdown of the three as I see it.

Lloyd has excellent acceleration, and vision. He punishes the defensive players with his power and can pull away from tacklers.

Milton has excellent speed and vision. He tends to run in a more upright position which can be a red flag and cause injuries. He accelerates quickly, too.

Evans is my favorite. He is the complete package. Speed, vision, power. He runs with great confidence. He accelerates well and his speed allows him to pull away from trailing players easily.

Again. I like all three. My preferences would be:

1. Evans
2. Lloyd
3. Milton

Others on here might have a different opinion. I would be curious to hear what they think and their opinions.

Just watching some quick highlights on Lloyd, I love the way he runs. Runs behind his pads and finishes runs off hard.
