For one thing, Long Dawg went on a rant about how Kirby was going to make Saban his bitch.

I responded to a question regarding Hank South's credibility.

One was recruiting related and the other wasn't.

However, if my presence here is causing a problem then I'll gladly remove myself. Losing the Georgia friends I've made on this site, over recruiting, isn't worth it.

Yeah, I understand that Bama fans/analysts/tweeters, etc. have absorbed greatness from Saban and therefore are exceptionally knowledgeable on anything regarding college football. Just thought it was interesting that Hank South's new prediction apparently isn't worthless, even though he goes out on a limb sometimes and partly got his info from another Bama guy who has already weighed in. But Barton Simmons' new prediction was laughable because he went out on a limb one time a few years ago.

But, like you say, Georgia fans haven't had as much practice with this advanced recruiting logic.

I don’t think anyone is asking you to leave. I’ve always enjoyed your insight. The back and forth on people’s opinions has made this thread unreadable. Let’s get back to actual recruiting and quit with the banter. We’re not always going to agree, but the pissing contest is unnecessary.

Tensions are at an all time between our fan bases right now and it's over recruiting.

We didn't see this amount of animosity in regards to last year's title game or the SEC Championship Game two weeks ago.

Now you are just lying. The only thing I did wrong was place that post on the wrong forum. Disappointed that you would misrepresent what I said - which was actually very respectful to Bama - but because everyone is so upfreakong uptight - that all hell broke loose.

I agreed it was in wrong forum and deleted it myself but Bama board went freaking crazy. Whatever, I am fine with it because it shouldn’t have been posted there and deserve what I got - not because of what I said, but because of where it was posted - it wasn’t even close to an insult - how many times can I say “Saban is the Goat” and be a troll?

Since this thread has been damn near unreadable for a few pages, not sure if it was said already, but Darnell Wright cancelled his trip this weekend and supposedly will be visiting in January now it seems. He's not supposed to be signing early, so this may actually work out better. Concentrate efforts on him once majority of class is signed.

From the sounds of it, he's got a coach that seems to strongly favor UT, to the point that he's driving him there himself (and that may have been his only major visit?)...

That is exactly what Pruitt is trying to make happen.

Is there anything to read there? Or do we need to listen to podcast, CoolMtn?

Kipp Adams just put up an article on 247 saying UGA does have a chance at #1 class and look for them to make a big splash between now and ESD just like last year.
