I have a friend that works for the Falcons and Fields was at the Falcons/Panthers game last Sunday. He told her that since he is enrolling early that he would be able to be on the sideline of the National Championship (if they make it) as a student. I didn't really question whether that's allowed or not, but did confirm that he's enrolling.

I don't believe Fields redshirts,I think his being there for spring ball is huge, he will get lots of mop up duty in blowouts next year and have packages specifically for him.

I imagine we'll see Fields taking "direct" snaps in what was formerly the Wild Dawg plays going to Chubb/Michel/Godwin. (Although after seeing the success #1/27 just had with the WD formation, I think part of our angst at the plays may have come from who takes the snap, not the pay schemed...).
