If we don't hear anything from Eason by tomorrow than he is probably having serious thought about Florida.

I'd give it till Thursday morning with no info from Eason directly before moving to Defcon Seppuku.

I will repost what I thought of Darion Anderson after seeing him in person this season:
quote:

Darion Anderson (3 Star WR commit from Houston County) is really concerning, IMO. Besides one throw and TD for about 30-40 yards where he was wide open his affect on the game was very insignificant. Hell, he wasn't even in the game for a lot of plays. He didn't finish a few of his routes and might have been pulled for that. Didn't see any drops by him, but I don't see SEC WR talent there. I know we have cooled on him but I wouldn't be surprised for UGA to tell him to look around.

This guy really didn't do himself any favors this year, at all. With possibly the best QB in the state throwing to him. I have never said I liked a decommit, but this one needed to happen for both parties.

I think Jacob would prefer UGA and early play but Tony thinks more about coaching and the long run. I'm a negadawg. The future ain't what it used to be.

Kirby Smart was pleased with Jacob Easons visit and left with this quote

quote:

"Thank goodness, I was able to walk into a situation where he was hand-delivered," Smart said. "He was already here. We just had to make sure we could convince him that this was the right place for him."

So what are the cliff notes from today. Heard we had ourselves a little mini implosion.

Hockman decommitted, Anderson likely going to Colorado State, a lot of hand-wringing over Eason.

I think that covers it

So with Hockman gone and if Eason goes, what are our realistic options at QB?

Lots of options in 2017. Hockman isn't a big issue. Mills, Fromm, etc.

2016 could get dicey if it goes south. Probably search for a transfer

Fromm.

He and his family are huge UGA fans. The kid is the real deal too. Like some Bama fans have said, with the Hockman news, I will not be surprised to see him decommit and Kirby get on him heavily. We essentially filled our spots and wasn't really a priority under Richt.

That's for 2017...

If we don't land Eason, see sig.

Same guy in my office that told me about Kirby, no Pruitt etc. that gets his info through his booster friend gave me a couple bits today. Said Eason has confirmed his commitment. Also said that Nauta was a done deal after this past weekend.

Sounds about right. Nauta has been noticeably quiet. I think it's because he knows what Eason is doing, and they will both be Dawgs.

I imagine Eason has to be pretty thrilled at the idea of throwing to Nauta, Wims, Godwin, Robertson, Stanley, etc. after throwing to 5'10 white boys his entire career

But they were covered by 5'8" white boys.

Don't forget about Charlie Woerner. I want to see Eason To Woerner fot a TD against UNC.

Hope for the best but worried.
