he ran a 4.8....you won't see that jump. RIght now he is a low 3 star so even if he goes up its not going to be enough to be a 4 star.

WR Kiel Pollard of Colquitt Co (Arky commit) was just bumped up to a 4* by Scout.

So he got his feelings hurt bad enough for his Dad to call the coaches and threaten to not consider UGA. The coaches call and apologize. Now he is as solid a 2017 commit as you can hope for, ready to recruit for us and everything? I'm not saying you're lying about what you heard, but all of that is so over the top. Even if it is true, makes him seem so fragile that a commitment at this point doesn't mean that much to me.

You have to look at it as a whole and not just this weekend. Richard was always Georgia's to lose. He had also already planned to announce this December where he wanted to go so he could help recruit his class. There were some shortcomings in the Richt era in his recruitment. For whatever the reason, he wasn't invited this weekend and he thought, "frick it" if it was just going to be more of the same.

He's had a relationship with Kirby since he was a freshman. Somehow Kirby and the other coaches talked him off the ledge and he obviously committed. Now that he has committed, I will ban myself if he doesn't sign with Georgia.

He seems to be a strong Dawg now from his post.

That being said, Kirby wanted the later guys to come later when he actually had a full staff. He didn't want to bring in everyone with no Defensive Coordinator and all that. He wanted the early guys that are important now and focus on guys like Lecounte after the dead period.

Sounds good to me. I didn't know there was history there. IF it was a random occurrence, it didn't make sense, but that background puts it in perspective.

I hate sweating out recruits when they commit this early, but I hope he is as sure as you are.

They do have the worst rankings out of all the industries.

1. 247
2. Rivals
3. ESPN
4. Scout

Are we still thinking Eason announces on Tuesday or Wednesday?

Last week everyone was saying by the middle of this week.

Although based on how his visit went it's just a formality at this point. I truly don't see any way he doesn't come here unless him and his parents absolutely despise chaney.

I'm sure he'll come out with a tweet or something but from all accounts involved he reaffirmed his commitment this weekend, according to Radi

It would be shocking if he didn't reaffirm his commitment.

Speaking of Houston County, what's the latest on Darion Anderson? Literally haven't heard anything about him since last March when he committed

Could these decommits from the Offensive side of the ball be related to Chaney or BMac,Lily, etc?

We've had one O player decommit since Chaney was named.

I stand corrected. Anderson is not a loss though.

With the staff turnover and with the new staff you can expect more. Our class will probably look nothing like what we expected it to with Richt.

There is a good possibility he was not contacted or told to look around as well. The old staff liked small speedy guys and new staff may prefer size.
