at the cocks... Should we sticky a thread to the top of our board to keep count of how many players that have left since the end of last season? I love that shite is backfiring on them.

BAW was the main one. His mom was all over social media as well. They talked alot of junk about Green, Baw, Sawyer etc from the same class. They have been noticably quiet since.

Quote from DeVonta Smith:

"Shyheim is like my brother," Smith said. "We've known each other since we were little. His decommitment on the same day wasn't planned, but it kind of just happened. I would like to play with him, because I've known him so long, and we've always talked about playing together. I don't know who his top schools are or what he has going on right now. If I didn't try to recruit him to Georgia, I wouldn't be doing the right thing."

247...SEC recruiting: Georgia leading for more & more big-timers

quote:

Two big pieces of news broke in favor of the Dawgs on Monday in the commitment of Top100 2017 athlete Devonta Smith and the decommitment of Top100 2016 athlete Shyheim Carter from Alabama, which quickly prompted the 247Sports Crystal Ball to go nuts in favor of Georgia led by Dawgs247 insiders Rusty Mansell and Kipp Adams.

quote:

• Breaking down Smith’s verbal first, how about him blocking on the first play of his high school highlight tape? The young fella isn’t afraid to mix it up. He can obviously run, sub 4.5 speed in the 40-yard dash and sub 50-second speed in the 400-meter race, and the 6-foot-1, 155-pound Amite (La.) High standout pulls away from defenders with ease after the catch. Smith is comfortable lining up all over the field, and his ball skills are absolutely what makes him elite. That also shows up in track where he finished second in the state in the triple jump.
• Smith is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 3 recruit in Louisiana. Taking blue-chippers out of Louisiana and away from LSU is typically an Alabama only deal. A few other SEC schools (particularly Auburn and Florida) have also gotten one here and there, but Georgia hasn’t had any recent success in that state.

Is it true that some Vol sportswriter has given KD's dad a job in Knoxville? No, it was just a clown being a clown as usual.

It's also not like education is first on every recruit's priority list. I mean, it's not even first on everyone's in general.

If it's not, you're consciously making a decision to succeed for four years, not 40.

What you are saying is true. But how many students do you see with majors like Modern English Literature, or Women's studies....stuff like that? They have no idea what they want to do, and even if they do they don't know the proper major to make to get there. Not only that, but a LOT of newly minted college football players think they are going to make it in the NFL.

Hell, you would be surprised as to how many high school players think they will make it to the NFL...
