I think Auburn is more of a threat at this point. But it’s always a good sign getting these guys on campus. He was really high on UGA before he committed to Bama

SIAP, but Jordan Colbert is also visiting this weekend
He is the teammate of current commit Christian Owens. Four-star prospect grew up a big Dawgs fan, but I don’t think he holds an offer, yet. He is considered an Auburn lean, but he holds offers from Bama, Clemson, Tennessee, etc.

You know what would make that list of visitors truly awesome? A great OT or two. It is the same damn thing every year. The OL has held UGA back year after year, and watching UGA FB try to recruit top OTs is like watching Fox try to recruit top bigmen.

UGA does get top OT sometimes (some would say we got one in 2014). Fox can't actually get any players at all anymore. It's not as bad as you say.

Y'all can have Ledbetter
Hands off Dallas Warmack
I know we also have homegrown Cotton from Ttown and he's a monster but I still would like to keep Warmack
JL has always seemed enamored with Athens

He was higher on UGA and committed to Bama out of nowhere
AU is showing him a lot of love but I don't see him ending up there I could see him at UGA or Bama though

I think they'll separate Warmack from the group of top targets (especially Natrez Patrick), at least until they get a better understanding of his intentions.

Speaking of Ledbetter, just checking out his rankings across the board. Rivals has him #84 overall in the nation, yet #22 in the state of Georgia. Yet, the states #21 player, Andrew Butcher, is #193 in the nation.
Same thing with Chauncey Rivers, #30 in the state, but #107 overall ??? Am I missing something here, besides the fact Rivals is watered down garbage?

When 247 opened and ESPN expanded, both hired about 90% of the good writers/analysts/ranking guys from Rivals. They are still trying to recover and clearly haven't yet. They seem to pay a lot of attention to a certain set of players and they really get those guy's rankings correct, but screw up almost everyone else.
Butcher isn't close to Ledbetter, no idea how he is ranked higher when he should be lucky to be ranked within 10 spots of JL.

Word is beginning to go around that neither Thompson nor Campbell may be coming anymore. Nothing official yet, but the idea is taking away my recruitnik stiffy.

Any reason other than bad timing?

No idea why. But apparently Chad Simmons reported it, so it's pretty close to official.
