Q: What are the schools you’re going to take official visits to?

Sweat: “Probably, most likely the ones I’ve already visited. Probably. I won’t be taking (officials) to schools I haven’t been to already and am not familiar with.”

Q: Ohio State, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Florida State and Georgia. Those five have definitely separated themselves and recruited you the hardest where you’ve narrowed your focus on those as finalists?

Sweat: “Yes they have. I haven’t really talked to anybody else.”

Can't watch it at work, but there's a lot going on behind the scenes involving his brother that will probably end up favoring Georgia.

His brother is trying to transfer from a DII school where he plays basketball and join the football team at either Bama or UGA as a TE. Neither seem likely to offer a Cootieship, but both will likely offer a spot as a preferred walk-on. He's already been admitted to Bama, and UGA will likely follow suit.

If it comes down to choosing between walk-on opportunities, in-state tuition at UGA < out of state tuition at Bama

Probably been mentioned in here, but Bruce Figgins coaches at Donte Jackson's high school and is the one driving him to Dawg Day/Night/Weekend/WTF. Had no idea until the other day that Figgins coached over there. That certainly can't hurt anything.

Jacob Eason left FSU early and is on his way to Athens for the whole weekend. Could be indicative of where we stand with him

If we don't land Eason getting the legacy 4 star will be a good consolation prize. He looks like a good get as well.

If we miss on Eason, we need to reevaluate and go after the next best option, not necessarily the easiest get. JMO. Not taking a QB in 2015 makes it important that we get the right guy in 2016. Kendall may be that guy, but UGA needs to evaluate carefully. They also like the QB at Dorman in SC.

Let's just get Eason.
