But seriously, great news if he sticks to it.

Reynolds is a player. Would love to flip him

Indeed. He is very good. Honestly, if we flip him and with what is still on the board and appears soon to commit, you have to wonder what will end up happening with guys like Baker.

Rusty confirms Eason WILL be at Dawg Day. Among the no's or doubtfuls are Charlie Woerner, Josh Imatorbhebhe and Montavious Atkinson.

There is some conjecture as to whter or not Eason will be in Athens Thursday-Saturday or if he will go to Tallahassee for Thursday-Friday and Athens Friday night-Saturday. Rusty says it's Athens all weekend, Ryan Bartow says he's going to FSU first.

Huggins has always been a big want for me. Huggins and Thompson in the middle with Carter and (hopefully) Sweat rushing off the edges? frick yes.

I'm a big fan of Sweat and generally a fan of 247, but a lot of their 2015 rankings are totally nonsensical. Playing well in gym shorts has become more important than how you play on Friday nights.

Terry Godwin tanked

He was dominating camps for a while.

Who wants to take a stab at the big drop? The 4.6 40 time I would assume?

He only dropped like 2 spots. They already had him way lower than most for some reason. He's still a five star on the composite.

Iirc, Barton explained it once as "he's a 5* WR and a 5* CB, but we can't decide which he will play, and he's not a 5* ATH." It was pretty retarded, but it doesn't really matter.

His 40 was actually an improvement. He's not a burner.

Update: apparently Trent's initial ranking at 13 was an error. He actually rose from 8 to 7.

He was also jumped by another DT. It would be interesting to see if that DT actually had better film than Trent because if he does then he is a monster.

It's not just 247. I have no issue with Sweat #1 at all, he deserves it, but it is clear that Trent is getting punished for not going to camps, that is why he dropped on Scout.

That happens with every recruiting service. It's about exposure. They see more of kid X at camps he might answer some questions that they have about him physically/mentally/developmentally/whatever. Kid Y might be more talented and have a better film but national recruiting analysts haven't seen him work out in person and have questions about his "motor" or "explosiveness" or some shite and use it as a reason to move kid X above kid Y. It kind of makes sense, but it really doesn't. I knew a lot of kids with great measurables and all that shite they love at camps now-days, but they were mediocre football players at best.

Bruce Figgins is now a coach on Donte Jackson's Riverdale HS team in New Orleans. That could help a lot. Bruce is giving Donte a ride to Athens this weekend.

Q&A with Josh sweat

Q: You got to go to a college town in Athens, Georgia. That’s a visit you’ve always talked about being one you wanted to make. Was it actually everything you originally thought it was going to be?

Sweat: “Yeah I wasn’t disappointed. Its pretty much the same deal as the others. I mean just not the same. Nice field. Nice everything. I've got to find out what separates all of the schools. Because right now its pretty nice. All of them. Find something that differentiates them.”

Q: What’s the background story on you growing up liking Georgia?

Sweat: “I definitely grew up liking them. I didn’t really watch much football but when I did I would go basically watch SEC games anyways.”
