2 Big things coming on February 5th...we will also see a surprise before April 1st. We will lose a commit or two on NSD, but we will sign another 2 that will make dawgs happy. We will also get a recruit that signs later March, foregoing NSD because he is waivering. Things are going well on the trail with Pruitt. Asst coaches are NOT a concern for the recruits that are already committed to other teams.

This shite straight from the quatrains of Nostradawgus or are you submitting these things as "facts"?

Per 247, it was Oct 1st that they dropped his ranking down to an 80. It's the first event on their timeline after his decommitment from UGA in August.

I have no idea why, however.

They grade him:

8s and 9s on size, frame, instinct, tackling.

7s on speed, playmaking, ball skills, closing speed.

Wasn't Glass the one who got kicked out of a couple of different schools this year for behavioral stuff? Can't keep this crap straight...

Because he had a special bake sale on school grounds and got kicked out

Word is that we backed off. He's had some off the field issues that we didn't want to put up with.

Why was Gaillard dropped from 5 star to 4 star by 247? The grade came out on 1/14. He's still a very high 4 star, but did something specific happen?

How can you do this during your senior season with a full ride to major University? Geez when I played High School ball, Senior season was the year to ball the frick out. Are we sure we want this kid?

His junior film was some of the best I've seen of a NG. His senior film - not so much. He was rounder, slower, and even lost some of the quickness in his first step that is/was his trademark.

That having been said - yeah, we want him. I think a decent (no jokes please) S&C program will do wonders for him. He'll be ready to go after a RS season, imo.

Not to sound discourteous, but I think that you answered your own question. When a full ride to a major university is already wrapped up, some kids don't see the senior year as a challenge and they are already looking forward to the next step. I am not saying that applies to all kids, however I have known a few like that from my HS days. To say that UGA shouldn't want him because he "sounds" lazy, would be a disservice to the potential that is currently untapped and can help be unlocked by getting him in to a tightly regimented environment.

I don't make posts like these....ever. Let's call this a very strong feeling after conversing with some people that are close to the program. They are by no means my sources, as I am not close to them. Take it for what it is...but the 3rd antichrist will be here by 2057

Are we recruiting Bailey Sharpe out of Sprayberry? The kid's father was Brett Farve's center back in the day so he has the athletic pedigree that you like to see. He got 7 offers in 24 hours. Was one of them UGA?

For what it is worth his highschool coach indicated that he was trying to gain a bunch of weight to get ready for college nose guard. From like 280 to like 315. It sounds like Gaillard is back down to 305ish. He may have just been defending his player and making a case for the weight gain, but I wanted to share the info.
