Ummmm, what?
Guess we need to get the checkbook out yet again. I just can't wait for 10 years later when we are watching the 30 for 30 about the recruiting scandals at Ole Miss and we can all say "yea, I remember that guy"

That's what i'm saying..where did he get that?? Sounds like an excuse for when they pay him off to flip to Ole Piss on NSD.

Didnt they already flip another db/safety this year from us?

NSIAP but UGA has extended an offer to 4* OL Kaleb Kim out of Mill Creek. Looks like a pretty good player.

That's not a good sign. It means he can't pass one or more EOCTs or GHSGTs. But we did sneak Caleb King in so who knows.

2014 ATH Tavon Ross is a Mizzou commit who is reportedly contacting UGA coaching staff and would be very interested in a Georgia offer for what its worth.

Tavon Ross
I was thinking it was a little early to be pursuing contingency plans, but it makes sense. We have a little over 3 weeks until NSD.
Honestly, I’ve never heard of him and I follow recruiting closely. It looks like his only major offer was from Mizzou. He is listed as an athlete, but safety seems to be his position at the next level. Interesting offer, if nothing to get overly excited over.

Wesley Green wasn't able to make it to Athens this weekend. Wanted to but the plan fell through. Rusty says he still plans to do his OV Jan. 31st and thinks we hold a slight lead over USCe right now.

Ross is a good move. Especially with the secondary issues we've had. He is a very physical tackler and has good size. But grades are an issue. That's why we did not offer him earlier.

What would he play? Safety? WR?

Looks like a good safety prospect, based on his film. Reminds me a lot of Rambo. Definite ballhawk.

I'm good friends with his best friend. He told me the offer was extended yesterday and that Tavon is of course very, very interested. However, he expects to get more offers from other SEC schools (possibly Bama). He loves Georgia but also like Mizzou a lot. Supposedly, he will visit Bama in a couple weeks.

Regular GPA is fine. Issue is core GPA and perhaps test score.
