Richt has been quoted on this several times and our own boosters have questioned it. I understand we have standards, but this has bitten us before. It is a legitimate issue for recruiting and getting beat by players kicked off our team, doesn't look good in the eyes of a young recruit. Absolutely a relevant topic for UGA recruiting.

Heads up guys
Rumph (Bama's DL coach) took the Texas DL coach job (more shake up). He was Christian Miller's lead recruiter and the guy he was closest to on staff. His tweets also seemed a bit foreboding but he basically told Bone he was still committed to Bama but was reevaluating things and would discuss with family
In other words this might make UGA a serious player and almost certainly means he will probably take that OV to Athens now

For a guy that refers to our coaches as "the 3 stooges" I figured you might understand how this impacts recruiting. We are dealing with 18 year old kids, so discipline is absolutely a factor in recruiting.

You know I am on your side in the war on Richt, this is just one of the few threads where the main focus is recruiting or a specific issue with what the staff has done wrong. It's a haven, if you will, devoted to just one topic. I even make some effort to keep my Richt bashing to a minimum and not create a debate on here.
Plus, a thread devoted to Richt being a fatherly-figure over title-winning coach warrants it's own thread anyway. While I may not be in total agreement with your premise here you know I am not Richt apologist and to a degree I actually do agree with you.

I would recommend watching his film. I'm an amateur film evaluator, but he looks damn good to me
ETA - he also had some academic issues in the past that have kept some teams away

Depends on if he takes the OV, which I think is more likely now. Bama's putting on the press for him to cancel.
If he takes it, I'd say 50%. If not, he'll stick with Bama obviously.
