Bama will get Carter I'm convinced now and I am assuming UGA lands one of Rashaan Evans or pulls in Miller (although he's been looking more solid recently)
Both those guys guys are as good if not better, especially in Evans case who I happen to hold in very high regard in a 3-4 D scheme

Probably the bag of money.

What convinced you? Because with Kamara having trouble it seems like an odd time to be convinced on a Norcross kid

JC Schurburtt just predicted Carter to UGA, fwiw

Buc, you’re a well respected poster, but I have to disagree about LoCarter. While I don’t think he is a lock to UGA, I think we are in much better shape than Bama as of today. I think we split, you guys hang on to Miller, Evans goes to Auburn and LoCarter to UGA.
As for Evan and Miller, I would take both over Carter. Both are very impressive players.

There has been a surge in his recruiting by Bama's staff and I realize it is far from over, FSU could sneak in and is the dark horse IMO
Seems like they've shifted gears from Evans (who they realize has strong ties with AU)
Now if Bama lands Hand (not likely) all bets are off and Carter is probably UGA's to lose

What really convinced me is a mention in every nugget piece or at least an answer by 247 staff that Bama is still in great shape and how Bama made sure to get him in for this weekend...pulling out all the stops, not even close to done though

More Kamara-style recruiting on the part of Saban to keep Carter away from Athens this weekend, since it was reported that he was going to UGA tomorrow when his travel plans to Tuscaloser fell through with the prime time kickoff.
The Saban regime has a stellar track record of playing defense in recruiting, looking to take weapons out of the hands of rivals. If they eventually contribute for the Tide, then that's just gravy.

Buy him a hotel room?

He might show up at either game at this point
And Vox its the biggest recruiting weekend for Bama that's the only motivation, nothing to do with keeping him away from UGA

I'm not discounting the fact that this is Bama's biggest recruiting weekend. I'm saying that it's funny how they step up their game when he'd already announced that he made other plans. It only adds to the mountain of evidence that they play keepaway recruiting.
Unless you can see a specific need for having added scholarship RBs #7-9, this past NSD. Even with all of UGA's injury woes, we wouldn't have gotten that far down on the depth chart.

I was just giving you shite btw. I get what you're saying that he's a priority for Bama, but I'm far from counting UGA out because of that. UGA has a better record than most recruiting head to head against y'all, especially late in the process.

Kirby's been recruiting him and asking him to come this weekend for a while...it isn't a new concept all of a sudden Bama's staff is begging him to come, not the case

You're missing the larger point...

First- Why is a Bammer in our recruiting thread?
Second- A certain recruiting site for UGA has Zo Carter already in the bag for UGA. I wouldn't take it as fact but it sounds promising......
