Saw Jacob Park play Friday night in Charleston.
This guy is crazy mature for his age and he towered over the rest of both his team and the opponents.
In the pocket he was very calm and allowed his receivers to get open as the pocket was collapsing around him. Was patient and able to move around in the backfield when defenders were chasing him around. Arm was magnificent. Very accurate and high velocity.
Only problem I saw was he didn't have any receivers who were good enough for his throws. I hope we see this guy take the field in a couple of years.
Be on the look out for this Friday's game where his undefeated team plays against Goose Creek, an undefeated state ranked team with great talent. Will be telling.

From what I hear, Park is a lot more mobile than Mallet.

Sounds like just what we need for Richt's pro-style offense. As good as Murray is, just imagine if he was 6'4" instead of about 6 ft. We need a QB how can make those quick throws over the LOS with them getting batted down often. Being able to make those quick passes from under Center for first downs is an important part of any pro set offense.

Yea, I saw him listed as a dual threat on one site and from video he looks like he can definitely move.

While I agree with the sentiment behind this statement...Chris Simms is 6'5 and that kid got more balls batted in his face than 20 dollar whore on gub'ment check day.
