Wish this meant his "ride", as in scholarship.

Carvell will also tell you that UGA is his beat, and that stuff that impacts Bama doesn't affect us. He'd be wrong, but nonetheless...

Carvell is trolling UGA fans for hits 95% of the time. All the recruiting guys like him and say hes a good guy and that its hard to make it working for a newspaper still but he is over the top a lot.

Didn't see the list but we didn't make Mixon's top 10... Not too surprising I guess with what we have on campus & Chubb & Michel coming in...

Yep. That pipe dream died the second Chubb picked up a UGA hat.

Right now...I think I would rather have Chubb. Seems to have a good head on his shoulders...he is moving up in the rankings...looks as if he works hard and has a good attitude.

Yes. That kid is built like a brick shite house with wheels. Plus I'm always partial to the home state kids.

OL Will Bryan (big dude 16yrs old)
His dad played at UGA and his brother is on the baseball team over there.
quote:

"This is a big relief for me and I proved what I needed to prove at Dawg Nite and Yellow Jacket camp going against big time players. I visited other schools and at the end of the day Georgia Tech is the best place for me. I love Coach Johnson's offense and I don't like pass pro much, I prefer to hit people and run block. I can play at my current size at offensive tackle and I feel like I fit in with the current commits and players."

"I prayed about this and it is the right decision for me and my family and they will be Georgia Tech football fans because they are fans of wherever I play," he said. "This is it for my recruitment and I am excited to be a Yellow Jacket for life."

UGA offered top JUCO corner Shattle Fenteng today and now leads for him. Originally played at Grayson HS. Offers from OM, K St, Texas Tech, WVU.

Good for him. He found the place that he wants to go and is a place that wants him.

Maybe its just me, but I do not even recognize commitments from upcoming juniors in high school, as anything other than naming a leader. Simply too much time until they sign an LOI and too much changes in the college football landscape in a 2 year period. For example, Nick Glass committed last year and is about the biggest Dawg fan and committed kid you could find. Did that stop all of us from sweating out a report about Ole Miss being a serious threat. And there is still 7 months to go in his recruitment. I don't know, call me crazy I guess?!

Yeah, I agree I just feel like QBs are different and they usually stick to their word. You don't see many decommits from the QB position unless there happens to be a major coaching change or something. Just really thought we had a good shot with him. I think we're still in the running for Kyle Kearns though, another top 2015 QB from Cali.

Town's dad:
quote:

"This wasn't on a whim," Rick Town said. "It's been in the works for a while. Ricky doesn't like leading people on. He wanted the other teams to know what his intentions were early so they could do what they have to do."

I like the fact that they wanted to cut the other schools in the running loose so they can make other plans.

Radi Nabulsi ESPN ?@RadiNabulsi Juco CB Shattle Fenteng tells me he will be deciding between #UGA, #OleMiss and #KState either today or tomorrow. My guess is the #Dawgs.

Looks like we should have a new CB commitment pretty soon.
