For whatever reason, BAMA and UF have all these parents thinking they are the best at getting their players to the league. Coach Lilly tweeted the other day that UGA has more top 100 players than any other school...or something like that. We need to sell that kind of stuff to the recruits families. The dad just never seemed high on the DAWGS for whatever reason.

from Miller: “He (Nick Saban) said I was the No. 1 outside linebacker on their board. It felt good to hearing that from program like that and a coach like that.”

Also is a HUGE Jarvis Jones fan...
Also said the Depth Chart looked better at Bama than UGA

"Lorenzo, this is Coach Richt. did you hear what Saban said about Christian Miller? Yeah, I know that's messed up. Trust me, you're the number one on our board. Son, do you like to fish?..."

How does our OLB board look worse than BAMA? I see his only competition being Jenkins (maybe for one season) Deloach, Dawson, Floyd, Bellamy, and McGhee. There are two OLBs in our scheme. What am I missing?

Kids here what they want to hear, man. If you want to believe something bad enough, you will.

I have had 4 kids recruited by Bama and every one of them were ”number 1 @ their position” according to Saban even when they weren't in the top 10 at position Some fall for it others don't.

I never felt good about him. Dad is in charge of his recruitment, and he seemed to be more impressed with the player development abilities at BAMA and UF.

Just a broad stroke question:

Does it seem to ya'll that whenever a dad is in charge of the sons' recruitment, we lose out, but when a mother is in charge we win out more often?

I know there are examples either way, but it just seems this way to me.

It certainly seems that way to me. Apparently Nick the midget has a way of charming the dads. That, or he sends in the "hostesses..."

Maybe Miller just really felt like Bama was the best place to develop his skills. Saban is known for such things.

I bet $5 he flips to UGA by season's end.

Any takers? You can't bump this post in 6 months and ask for your five dollars... you have to take the bet now, if you want the action. Then bump it in 6 months.

He may very well flip. I'm just saying that the reasons that he gave for commiting may be legit.

Because UGA has a recent history of shitty OLB development?

That he may really believe that it is the best place for him.
