I hope you're right. I wouldnt mind not taking a safety this year(we're about 5 starred out at S), but if we do there's atleast 3 others I'd rather have in this class.

Tray Matthews ? @Trigga_Tray28 Reply Retweet Favorite · Open Mark Barron! ! Best safety Alabama has had in the past years. That's gone be me

Is he at our Ttown draft party tonight?

It will be, and people will be pissed. All 3(Foster, Kamara, Matthews) of them have stated they want to play together. We feel Kamara has been ours to lose. I consider Foster one our most solid commits. I feel more confident about Foster, than I do Nkemdiche. Foster has stated time, and time again that he's nothing but solid. Even went onto saying how he wants to EE so he could get a jumpstart at UA. All things considered this is still recruiting we're talking about, but I'm not worried about Foster at all.

My guess is Kamara and Foster will go to UA, while Matthews sticks with UGA. Matthews loves the attention, and thinks he'll get more of it by saying he'll play with Kamara and RF.

There's atleast 3 other safeties I'd rather have than Matthews, and if we miss on those three I'd prefer we just go without a safety in this class.

Is Tray Matthews moving to Auburn?

quote:

Not sure what this means or if this has any legs but Michael Carvell from AJC sent out a retweet of a tweet between Tray Matthews and Shaq Wiggins.

The tweet was from Trigga_Tray28 to ShaqWiggins21: bruh I gotta move may 5. Dont do nun that day. Then KippLAdams retweeted: going to Auburn, Alabama?

Then Michael Carvell retweeted: Rumor is true?

Haha if that were true then everything would be a giant clusterfrick.

Auburn people would be in their ear everyday.

Tray would be trying to sway Reuben to UGA

Reuben would be trying to sway Tray to Bama.

Well, DonnyBoy, don't just say there are three-- let's go ahead and see their names and/or film. Tray might end up a LBer like Ogletree before all is said and done by the looks of that body in Atlanta last week.

No it won't. Tray is going to UGA. Before he said anything about Barrron (which is in reference to Tray being the first safety taken in the draft when he jumps, not being the next Bama safety) he was talkign up a storm with Brice Ramsey and Tramel terry about being drafted from UGA.

Face reality, it is a 90% chances Tray=UGA and Foster=Bama

I agree, but what about this trio-package deal bs between RF, TM, and AK. Is it just high school kids being high school kids enjoying the recruiting process? And what if they aren't blowing smoke (even though I strongly believe they are)? What university gets shafted here? I can see us having the best chances with all 3 athletes from GA but who knows. It's going to be a crazy process either way, and a quick process because they are rumored to be EE's.

Honestly, I think it's just their pipe dream. I had three great friends in HS I would claim I was gonna go to school with. But fact of the mtter is some people want different things. When the EE period rolls around I think they get serious and you stop hearing package stuff. It's April. Kids are just having fun. Last year, Denzel Nkemdiche was supposed to be a package with his brother.

If a package deal is for real, though, it favors UGA. We have more influence with those kids being in-state, we have more influence with guys like Wiggins and Henry recruiting for us.

But, by next February, I think it is what it is and Tray and Reuben go to different schools

Kamara and even said it's just talk, no plans have been made, and in the end they'll each do what is best for themselves. I'd say it's just as likely that tray flips to Bama as it is that Foster flips to UGA...somewhere in the 0.2%-.5% range.

Right, I agree. And honestly, I don't care to lose Kamara we don't even need an RB if Henry stays on board we have a stable back there and not to mention Williams for 2014. If we had to take a RB I'd prefer Tyshon Dye IMO.

Exactly. The only and I mean only way that we have a shot with RF is if Kirby leaves.

Dye is the best RB in the state, in my opinion but we've fallen a long way behind USCe, Auburn, and Clemson for him. He wants to be THE man at RB and so long as Henry is committed, we really don't have much of a shot at Dye.
