Thanks, Crispy.
About JJ. We have a lot of guys coming in at DB, but we need to keep as many as possible, so that we'll have a large pool to pick from. Playing corner as a true freshman in the SEC isn't easy.
JJ is too small for RB in the SEC. However, I wouldn't mind seeing him used like Boykin \ Smith were used as WRs or "WildDawg" tailbacks.
JJ as a true freshman should be focused on learning how to play one position, CB, and maybe kick or punt returns anyway.
Next: Jordan I'm assuming at one OLB. Just not convinced any of our guys will be able to step into the other OLB starting role. Wouldn't hurt to have another 5 star recruit in the competition.
I already remarked that Crowder is likely to go to Clemson, BTW.
Just a thought on Foster: Any chance at all, if by any chance we get him, we look at him at OLB? If he's at 242 pounds in HS, he could bulk up to 255 or so by the fall.
I know it sounds weird to want a 3 star RB, but I don't see us being a sound FB team with only 3 recruited running backs on the roster, and all of them true sophomores or a true freshman.
I wouldn't mind seeing a JUCO rb surprising us at the last minute if Kamara decides to be Bamer's 8th RB. AK must have serious counting issues if he doesn't see through Satan's weak koolaid lies.

I think the coaches will probably take a gamble if we miss on Kamara and go in with 3 RB's on the roster with the potential of Green getting a few carries. We're in good position with a couple of in-state backs in '14 and and couple out of state guys, too.
I think the Riles situation has more to do with the AK situation than MA. I think the staff would rather add a guy they feel can contribute rather than burn another scholarship.
Rumor has it that Foster would be cross trained at OLB and ILB but inside would be his primary position.

I think he definitely could play at OLB, but I don't think he needs anymore weight. He played this summer at around 255 and lost noticeable mobility and explosiveness. I think we want him to play around 245.
He has the skillset to play any linebacker position though

I think they are trying to fill all of the available spots. Might not be Adams they are worried about. Could be Kamara or Foster.

I think it's Kamara. I have a feeling he's all Bama

If we get Adams and Foster in addition to Tunsil and Johnson, Kamara can go to Bama for all I care.

Just read this. He said it better than I did.

Who is more likely at this point: Riles, Bellamy or Jay Woods? Or do we possibly take 2 out of 3?

Swin, do you know if Kublanow will be in Athens this weekend?

Yep, Turman's a nice back this class anyways. Save the room for next class

IMO we use AK's spot (if he goes Bama) topick up Bellamy or Riles

Kubs is in Athens this weekend which is big; he and Adams have become good friends. The RUMOR ( I stress rumor) is that Monty is a little shy and doesn't always make friends easily, and mama likes that he has already made friends with some of the UGA guys. That's not substantiated at all, but I read it on 2 different boards.

The late offer to another DE is telling that we might possible whiff on Adams. Just a hunch, since he has been a Clemsux lean for so long.

What are our chances with Matthew Thomas? I've only heard his name as one of our targets in the past couple of weeks. All I know is that we have his last visit.

Not very good, IMO. Many thought FSU for a while, with Miami having an outside shot, and us getting a courtesy visit. But now the coach recruiting him to FSU has taken a job at Miami and it looks like the NCAA screwed the pooch on their investigation which likely garner reduced sanctions for da U.
So, I say Miami. Plus, it's his hometown.
ETA: Just read that he cancelled his Miami visit to go to USC, so who knows

I took a 10 to 1 bet that he wouldn't come to UGA
