Thanks to NC for your reply.
Got Davis. Now it is 7, assuming as I did previously that one more of the 18 commits drops off the list by 20 December.
Changed my priority list. I now have ranked as most wanted commits yet, using 13 most often heard guys:
Sayler
Barmore
Mays
Tindall
Reeves
Campbell
Ford
Next group:
Henry
Taylor
Cooper
Hill
Standridge
Isaac Taylor Stuart
Sure looks like CKS has put us in a very good position re: this year's recruiting class.
I'm hoping we get at least 2 OL Sayler and Mays or Hill, 1 DT (like all three names), 1 DB Campbell or Taylor Stuart, 1 ILB Tindall or Reeves, 1 TE Ford, and any of the others above.

I think I should have rated Davis about 5th in order of priority.

If, and that's a big if, we end up, say, with 8 spots, not 7, how would you rank in order of most likely to start 3 years for us, the top 8 we're still after? Or the top 8 prospects out there?
Sayler
Mays
Reese
cover corner (keep forgetting his name)
Tindall
Taylor
Ford
Hill
Just saying, maybe we take 2 more OLs, not 3
Or, is there someone else out there you'd put in our top 8 possibilities?

So, we have now 7 spots on our class of 24, and Davis is about to verbal to us. 6 left.
Taylor says we're leading. 5 left
Salyer and Mays heavy leans, right? 3 left
Reese? best ILB hope for us, CBs looking good. 2 left
Cover corner, a must have. 1 left
Ford? Hill? Tindall?
Any other candidates for the magnificent 7?

won't be room for Tindall unless we fail to flip Reese
I think we have room for 6 more: 1 NG, 1 ILB, 1 tall cover corner, 2 OL, 1 TE
Not saying Tindall isn't all world or anything, just looking at the numbers

So, these "experts" are actually in the sports news wing of the Democrat (blame the Russians and hate Trump) party?
"Unnamed sources" have heard from second cousins and drunk fan friends have heard that 5 star DT Joe Jones is headed to Liberty University because Jesus is their best recruiter ...
Joke, guys, joke, you know, like CNN is the very fake news station

Such as the high donor parking lot by the student center.
What about the parking decks?
I heard last year was a nightmare trying to get out of
athens, even just getting into and out of the usual parking areas near the stadium.

If we lose out on Solomon, which seems likely, and Wyatt does the Georgia boy doublecross, reverse flip to Boom, we ARE in trouble.
We have offered Slaton as a DT, right? That's the most important guy we'd have to pull in.
Then the JUCO DT\DE would be a good choice if we can flip him.

Warner may have dropped down the list, but I thought he was a good ILB prospect who may play special teams as a freshman, and step into the rotation at ILB after Roquan and Natrez move on to the pros.
Reason he's down a bit may be his interest in Stanford looks strong, anyway, and we already have 2 or 3 ILBs committed to us.
Still, if we get only 3 or God forbid only 2, of the other remaining targets, I'd be just fine with taking Warner.
One never knows. The kid may end up being another Natrez or another Rennie Curran.

So, if Solomon goes to Harbaughville,
and if Slayton's grades aren't there, we still double down on getting his commitment, get it, take his LOI, and place him in prep school or JUCO, hoping to get him back in 18 or 19.
Next year's juniors and sophomores on the DL won't start leaving until after the 18 season (assuming that Trent leaves after the 17 season, however)
If he pulls out qualifying late, like last year's #3 RB (Herrien?), he gets here in August.
If not, he gets here in time to help us in 18 or 19.

Agree. If Solomon does become a traitor to his state, let it be in Michigan. Let him deal with lousy weather, a jock sniffing HC, an under-performing Big 10 team.
Not Alabama.
If he is not coming to Athens, hope he gives CKS a silent heads up, so we can double down on the 350 pound OG\NT (Slayton?).
This year and next year are not good years for interior DLs in Georgia, and the Southeast region in general.
Face it: we have to hold onto Wyatt, and bring it at least one more interior DL in this year's class.
We have four more slots if we hold on to all of our commits and they qualify.
One more DT, got to have him.
One more DB, a big one.
One more WR, Collins or Jaymest (JoyStick2).
One more OLB. Big Cat.
If any of these four slots come up with 0, and he is willing, bring on Warner at ILB.

No place kickers on scholarship at this time.
Long, punter, is.
Don't think he's leaving.
Backup punter, QB, probably leaves. 1
Chubb and Michael, for sure. Up to 3
Unless Blazevich graduates and goes to Clemson or Florida State, Davis or Harris, TE, at least one TE goes somewhere, call it 4.
Speculation above about Wilkerson makes sense. Maybe other DBs will think about it. 5
Wondering about Tae Crowder, too. 6
Shakenneth 7
Not sure if all our OLs will be back. Say one of them is too small and moves on. 8
Bellamy or Carter. 9
14 scholarship seniors (including walkons given ships in August) leave.
9 guys leave early.
23 spots.
We have a couple more spots open on the 85 man roster now.
We get 25 commits who sign, room for all 25.
Would love to see if I'm anywhere near right on this.

I had hoped Woerner would stay at wideout, but Chaney knows what he's doing.
I wouldn't blame Davis or Harris for leaving, but hope at least 4 of our 5 stay.

Thanks for the encouraging info, Sanford and Crow!
Barnett at 290 could play at DT if needed, but I'm hoping we have ng 325, dt 320, de 280, all bigger, stronger and faster as starters, and maybe 4 more interior DLs in the 315 to 325 range to back them up.
and 3 DEs at 275 to 290 would be absolutely awesome.
Plus, here's hoping Marshall is big, mean, fast and ready to be in the DE rotation, too.
We looked small and weak in the DL by comparison with Alabama, Tennessee, and a couple of other teams last year.
Winning the LOS is key to winning football.
Loving hopes of tougher LOS on both sides of the ball.

We'll have 3 beasts at DL: TT, Atkins and Hawkins coming back inside.
three true frosh: Rochester, Carter, Clark -- better hope they'll be ready to play a lot this year.
I'm thinking the rest of our current DLs are destined to be DEs: Young, Ledbetter, Barnett I assume are still 230 - 255 DEs for this year.
Marshall and Manac are coming in at weights closer to OLB than DE, but we can always hope one of these two or Young or Barnett start camp at 295 instead of 255.

Love the OL, QB, WR, OLB and DB commits and likely commits thusfar!!!
Sadly, no serious Nose and DT prospects in conversations this recruiting cycle.
Are we in on any DT types, or do we hope for help in the 2018 class?
I know we'll try to turn the Michigan commit back to the good guys, but are we even talking with ANY OTHER prospective 315 - 330 pound mean, tough, mobile DTs or Nose Guard guys?

You counted 14 seniors maybe because it looks like we will have 4 to 6 non-scholarship senors.
