Gotcha. I would have to stay with the cable internet so by the time I spend for stream services its not a huge difference. Also the DVR. Is there a worth while DVR that can be purchased?
ATT Fiber + YTTV including fees puts me at $75 cheaper than what I am paying now. And doing some research, yes you can record things on YTTV.
Regarding the other streaming services apps, such as Netlix and Prime and Boomerang, those are things we are already paying for on top of the $200 figure for Xfinity cable+internet.

The answer is no. You'll need to buy a $50 firestick and then break it. And then you can get the app.

YouTube TV. Get the Disney+ and ESPN+. Haven't missed a Georgia game all season. Even saw the Charleston Southern game on ESPN+. Great HD picture.

btw, between ustv247.tv and open air HDTV, I have not paid for one minute of UGA this year. I don't carry cable tv, just cable internet.
I didn't get the game against Chattanooga, because it was on espn2 or something odd.

Went to YouTube TV about 8 months ago. I think we pay like 60 bucks for 2 TVs ( My wife bought it, so I don’t know what exactly she pays a month for it, but that’s the price she quoted to me) and I also have a digital antenna hooked up so that I can get my local TV stations. I haven’t regretted it one time since I switched. Also saw every UGA game including the Charleston Southern game that was blacked out.

I was able to watch the ESPN+ game too, but my espn app on my Apple TV hates me and won’t let me login to ESPN+ on the tv.
I ended up pulling the stream up on my laptop and just airplayed to the tv, so no big deal, but does anyone here know the way to connect your ESPN+ account to your Apple TV?
I’d love to binge watch 30 for 30’s and their other content without going through the laptop song and dance.

Just do the two week free trial and check it out for yourself.
The only surprises for me were that you're limited to just three streams at any one time simultaneously with the basic package (but you can pay more to expand that with an add-on) and also you will be 30 seconds behind everybody watching on cable so mute your phone during games and don't read your text messages immediately as they come in
At first i thought all the extra content and channels and dvr cloud stuff would be cool, but just like with netflix or disney+ , or HBO , etc, you run out of things actually worth watching real quick. Its also pretty clear that as youtube/google corners this market that the price is going to keep going up so in a few years itll be back up to $200 a month with your internet factored in once theyve bodysnatched cable completely and taken over. Price has already tripled since they launched I believe.. But since no contracts you can drop it whwnever you want and try a competitor i guess

YTTV says $65.99/m. Are there any bull shite taxes and fees on top of that?
Its under $70 after tax, and that unlimited DVR is awesome.

YouTube TV.
I second this. I will also recommend accessing via a smart TV with Fire TV as its interface (Toshiba) OR get a Chromecast with Google TV, particularly if you have a soundbar (the Chromecast remote will pair with it and control it and your TV power). Other smart TVs can run it natively, but I've found most interfaces to be clunky and slow.
Google TV works fantastically. You can also use Roku devices/TVs; however, Roku and Youtube TV are in a contract standoff and Roku no longer supports the Youtube TV app. Good=gle gave them a middle finger by adding Youtube TV access via their menu in the Youtube app, which they do still have a contract for, but it runs out in after December. No idea what happens then.
And if you're like me and want to run a direct ethernet connection to your Google Chromecast, buy a Utech hub/adapter off Amazon and check this out.

I have two older flat screen TVs that are not smart TVs. I have Roku for each TV and have YouTube. All works fine.

Why do you have this? YouTube TV includes locals.

You DO if you already had the app prior to the contract negotiation breakdown. But for new subscribers to YouTube TV who didn't already have the app, it's currently only accessible through the main YouTube app. And if they don't figure out their contract before Dec. 9th, the YouTube app may disappear, too.
Roku's announcement prior to dropping the app.
Most recent warning from Google.
More stuff.

You get unlimited DVR space with YTTV with a 9 month expiration (from the last airing) I believe.
I've been a fan, though I liked it a lot better when it was $30-35/month... they've added channels (and just added hallmark channels which has made the wife happy, at no upcharge... making me happy as well).

Can you educate me more on this specific subject, please?
