Not sure why we need to rehash all of last years painful drama on the Ark all over again

I like Sumlin. Last year's offense caused me to question him. But, he made the change. I feel good about him being the CEO of the team.

When he repeatedly said Allen wasn't injured and was just playing like arse. The reality was he was hurt in the third quarter against MSU and played 2.5 games with essentially an inability to abduct his throwing shoulder past 90 degrees.

The guy is going to crush it at UH if he stays healthy and thousands of Aggie fans will be SHOCKED because they still believe Sumlin's bull shite.

I don't mind calling out Sumlin on his bullshite, and he has done plenty, but I really don't think he treated Kyle any different than he's treated past QBs. Now maybe that's a bigger issue, that he isn't vocal enough in protecting a struggling player, and I wouldn't necessarily be opposed to that.

But I don't remember anyone accusing Sumlin of throwing Johnny under the bus when he limped to the finish line in 2013 with a bum shoulder.

eh its kinda nice having some activity on here. This place has been pretty dead since the end of basketball season (even baseball was kept in a single thread).

I do think the question of it we like Sumlin is irrelevant though. A better question is who we like more that its worth replacing Sumlin.

I would take Saban, Meyer, Stoops, Patterson, Harbaugh, Dantonio, Fisher, and maybe Herman.

Super realistic list, I know.

I like the coaching staff he has assembled for the most part. I really like Chavis and Turner and I would be sad about losing them in a regime change. I like what Sumlin has done with social media.

That's all I got.

Used to feel this way but getting harder to agree with that after the Chalk Talk fiasco and the Moorehead dipshit tweet episode.

after 59-0, no. I don't want him at my school.

the ONLY way to redeem himself is by winning the SEC this year. Failing that, gtf outta CS.

I'm continually baffled by how a "CEO" head coach can have so many CEO-type problems.

If he's not responsible for the offense, and he's not responsible for the defense, then what is he doing that's so important that he cannot find time to get a grip on how the locker room is behaving and how his coaches are behaving.

It would be so nice if RSJ finally lived up to his pre-signing hype this year.

I think our WR core has a breakout year across the board with a vet QB finally under center. Excited to see it.

I like him, I think he's a good coach, and I think we'll win at least 9 games this year.
