Vandy is going to be a glorified scrimmage, but damnit, I'm still pretty damn pumped.
What do yall wanna see?
Will we cover the spread? (-30.5 last I saw, but its been moving)
I am interested to see just how they split carries and targets for the backs, which WRs get the work when the game is still close, and has Mond improve his accuracy and pocket awareness.
I am not worried about pass rush. Vandy's line is so bad we'll get it without even trying.
Mainly we just need to stay healthy and get ready for Bama.

Definitely this. Also how we protect Mond and run block. Mond taking the next step and how our OL performs to me are the two keys to this being a big year for us.

I want to see some speed on offense, we have been slow the past 2 years, both on our skill position players speed and how much we were milking the clock. I understand Fisher was trying to protect the defense and control the clock, and he doesn't seem to like to run up the score on teams.
Take out the LSU OT game, and we have only scored over 50 3 times with Fisher, two of those vs FCS teams Northwestern State and Lamar, the lone FBS teams was NC State in the bowl game.

I’m extremely excited for the game!
My biggest things I want to see:
1) Mond improve accuracy
2) our offensive line look improved (I know it’s against vandy but even against weaker opponents last year they looked awful)
3) some big plays, I feel like we never had any big shots down field, whether it be a big run or pass
4) a good pass rush, again, I know it’s vandy but I want to at least walk away thinking we looked solid on both lines.

we are going to get a half were we outgain them by maybe 150 yards, they have like 3 first downs, maybe,.... and we go into the half with a 10-3 lead

I’d also like to add a small list of things I DONT want to see
1) I don’t want to see us give up any sack
2) I don’t want to see any turnovers
3) I don’t want to see the defense give up more than 2 big plays (I expect one or two just given the crazy odd season and fall camp)

Sadly, I can’t remember a time I’ve been less excited for a new season. I hope that changes as we start playing games.

Speed speed speed.
Above average offensive line play. Normally I would like to see good/great...but after last year I have set bar lower for our o-line.

I'd love a stylish 63-0 slaughter just to get everyone's attention, but Jimbo's style just doesn't cater to that. It'll probably play out similar to the MSU game last year, only without the late game sympathy points. Something like 45-10.
I also think Vandy is gonna get the ball out so fast it will be hard for fans to appreciate our DL in this game. They aren't gonna let their trash OL get that true freshman from Weatherford killed.
