With Cam Newton going down to injury again Kyle Allen has been elevated to starting QB for the Panthers.

Kyle vs Kyler will be a match up for the ages folks. This will be the first time we have two Agg... former Aggie QBs going up against each other. What a time to be alive!!!

And there were people who defended Sumlin well into 2017. Unbelievable. Truly unbelievable.

I’ll admit I didn’t think either of them would make much of themselves in the NFL. Kryler too small and Kyle not being quick enough to read a defense well. But good for them on making it. Even if Kyle just stays a career backup for a few years like Stephen McGee, that’s still a good paycheck and good way to collect one.

Not a bad payday for half a years work of mainly sitting on the bench and not risking injuries. Other half of the year is just making sure to stay in shape. I’d let someone pay me a few hundred thou per year to do that. Sadly I was born a slow, unathletic, average height male. Oh well.....

I’ll admit, Kyler looks like he can hold his own in the NFL. We’ll if the little runt holds up for a full 16 games.
