So I'm not a basketball guy at all, I'll watch some march madness, especially if we get in obviously. Whats the main thinking with Buzz? Sounds to me like in his third year we wont make the tourney and basketball is a sport you can turn over your roster a lot quicker and make an impact faster. Leash getting short or does he have another 3+ years? Whats our problem in not being able to make it to the tourney?

We can still make the tourney. I think if we miss it this year and next it’s probably time to start looking at a change

Still have a chance to make the tournament but we are going to have to get at least two wins out of LSU, Auburn, Tennessee, and Florida and not have any catastrophic loss

No real reason to talk about moving on from Buzz yet unless we dont make it this year or next

FWIW, I think he gets it figured out. Players play hard for him and don’t back down. Upping the talent level should solve many issues.

For those that gave me so much grief for being a Billy Kennedy homer, the one coach I said I'd be fine replacing him with:

Bruce Pearl is the only hire that could make me ok with not giving Kennedy the full slack he deserves.

Kennedy got far more slack than he deserved.

Williams should get at least the same leeway Kennedy did (who didn't make the NCAA Tournament until year FIVE).

Through 68 games.

Buzz Williams: 39-29 (16-20)
Billy Kennedy: 35-33 (11-25)

At this point though, I think we're cursed. The only way to appease the entity that cursed us is to sacrifice John Sharp, Xin Pubes and David Nuno.

I was hoping we’d turn things around tonight, but we stunk it up. Really poor second half performance.

No way Buzz survives this, right?

Buzz is going to survive this season regardless. The team is playing hard, so we know that isn't the issue...

But how in the world are we something like 6 of 47 from behind the arc at home in 2 games? That's almost impossible statistically. SMH.

I've suspected for a while that there is something wrong with the rims at Reed.

Weird how it only seems to affect the basket we're shooting on.

Maybe we need a fundraising opportunity here:

Rims for Reed

Once the goal of $59.95 is met then take the rims over to be exorcised (in fact take the balls too) before installation.

I'm not a Catholic but I work with one, and he has said that he knows some folks......

That idea is just crazy enough to work!

Hey, it worked for the football field, they had the priests from St Marys come over and bless the field before the Bama game and after watching the rest of our season play out that’s the only rational reason I can come up for the Bama win.

So many of those outside shots last night didn’t even have a chance.

Tough to win giving up 60%. Hopefully, they'll turn it around in the second half.

Hefner steal and slam gives A&M the lead ... yes, a Hefner slam. He's got 14 so far!
