Pats best message ever.

Still not sold on his coaching. But good post.

Nobody quit on the team, and everybody is enjoying the win. Go grandstand somewhere else.

This was a great win but it doesn't change the last 7 years. Kennedy is what he is at this point. A loaded team getting hot and going on a run doesn't change that, especially when his coaching forced their tough draw to begin with.

There is a LOT of reason to worry that Kennedy won't ultimately be able to turn us into a perennial power, but this is overstating things. It ignores the setbacks early and how he built us back from that, and it ignores the serious injuries and setbacks he guided us through this year. I expect he'll eventually be fired, but there is reason to hope that I'm wrong about that.

He's won the SEC and led us to two sweet 16s. He deserves full credit for that.

Auburn has been playing over their head. I don’t expect them to go deep or even finish strong regardless of this outcome.

Blew a huge lead to only share the conference crown, 0-1 in the SECT, then a 2nd round exit. Saw this coming a mile away.

I don't believe so. After 7 seasons, generally speaking, you know what you have in a coach. For all the hate Turgeon endured he would have made the NCAA tournament with 6 of the 7 teams Kennedy has coached.

There's literally nothing Kennedy can do in this tournament to change my opinion of him, because we have such a huge data pool prior to this. He is what he is. His inherent coaching deficiencies will still be there waiting for us in November.

With rosters entirely (2016) and largely (2018) built by two coaches who are no longer here. He's also missed the tournament in 5 of his 7 seasons, and only one of his 7 teams played anywhere close to their potential.

Auburn played WAY over their head this year. Bruce Pearl did a hellof a job but ultimately lacks the talent to make a serious run.

Switch Pearl and Kennedy, A&M is a 2 seed and Auburn wins about 16 games.

Hell, man, Aggies just beat the defending champs by 21 in their backyard! Enjoy the moment, if you can.

Absolutely

I hope this team keeps winning and I get to pay way too much to watch them in San Antonio in two weeks. I honestly believe this is a national championship caliber team when they play to their ability. I've said it all year long, our top 7-8 players can line up toe to toe with any team in college basketball.

But nothing can happen in this tournament to change my perception of Billy Kennedy.

I'm enjoying this immensely

I can seperate the joy of the moment from the knowledge of the overall situation. The idea that understanding our poor long term prognosis prevents me from enjoying this is the kind of nonsensical argument that has kept Pat (and many on Texags) going for years.

If you remain objective and don't fawn over coaches after wins, you're a bad Aggie who enjoys misery and quits on the team and other nonsense.

He can, and at this point I'm fairly convinced it's all one prolonged troll. Kudos to him for the determination to keep it up for so long.
