I think our line will be fine.

Rumors of new starting OL:
FWIW Olin Buchanan and Gabe Bock have mentioned Turner has been cross training the o-line several times on KZNE in the last few weeks.

I've got good news for the board...
I will have no cable access this fall to watch the Ags. Thus we will most assuredly win the natty

So, Koda Martin was named to the All - SEC preseason 2nd team... Surely this man starts at LT

Of course.
This is the part of camp where the line cross-trains in case of injury. They did the same thing last year. Much ado about nothing.

Few more updates:
- Erik McCoy is a future 1st round guard. He's one of the best interior blockers Turner has ever seen, the guy just mauls people.
- Trayveon Williams could run for 1500+ yards this year and nobody within the program would be surprised. He's got elite college Bach potential, though he probably isn't a great pro prospect because he doesn't have elite straight line speed that they like from smaller backs.
- Quartney Davis has been dissapointing, he doesn't have much confidence in his knee right now
- Jarrett Johnson has improved over the last couple of weeks and has a good scrimmage
- Clifford Chattman, Charles Oliver and Travon Fuller give us a bright future at corner. Chavis thinks all three are NFL caliber players, and Priest Willis won't be starting by season's end.
- How a program of our caliber can't find a consistent kicker is mind blowing
- Otaro Alaka is a guy whose gonna end up being here for 5 years and make a ton of tackles without ever really making much of a true impact. He's just the best we have right now at his position.
- I can't stress enough how good Starkel's arm is. When he sets his feet the guy can fling it 70 yards. If he settles down he could be s draft pick one day on arm strength alone.

Isn't Chattman way too tall (6'5) to play corner?

He's very tall for a corner, but he's running with the ones right now and may start early this year. His length gives receivers fits.

Chavis loves big corners because he loves to press.

Yep, but cliff doesn't fit even that mold lol. He is huge. Sounds like he's doing well though.
We've got the right db coach for it now, we should be coached as well as we've been in a long long time in the secondary.

Man I think we've been waiting about 15 years to see some press coverage by our corners.

Alum buddy told me that he thinks it's going to be Starkel. Any ideas if that's true or not?
Posted on 8/25/17 at 8:52 am to Captain Crown
That seems to be the official, non-official decision. But we keep hearing that he's thrown several pics in scrimmages. So many questions for a very young club.
This is the most unknown club we've had going into the opener since at least 2012.

I would say 80% or more of Ags expect Starkel.

Can't wait for that UCLA game

Did whatever it's worth, the starting OL in practice yesterday was Martin, McCoy, Prater, Lanfear and Sutherland.

Back to normal... I hope Turner's confidence in Prater is well founded.
