Look, I get it. We looked bad against Colorado. You're worried about the offensive line and about QB. You have good reason to worry. That said, most good teams goes through struggle and progression. We didn't look like a one loss team early last year, either.

Maybe you're hedging your bets. If we drop the Arkansas game or whatever you can say, "well, we expected that."

But some of you are carrying it too far. This whole "we're definitely going to lose to Arkansas, and we're probably a 6-6 team" is just silly. Recognize the signs of Battered Ag Syndrome. Don't give into the temptation to tuck your tail. Show some chest, for God's sake.

Arky love is nuts. They were losing at halftime to Rice.

Longhorns were a reputation ranking. They beat a Louisiana team that was running from a hurricane. That same ULL team just beat Nichols State by 3. Neither should have been top 25.

I agree with the general sentiment. Let's see how next week goes.

Arkansas looked pretty damn good last week though. I've rewatched their highlights and while Texas was soft, arky’s playcalling and QB are the best they've had in a very long time.

Best case scenario for us would be that not only is texas THAT bad (which is definitely a possibility with how they get over-ranked and over-hyped every year), but also that Arkansas, playing at home, gave the sips their absolute best shot. The type of emotionally geeked up shot they typically reserve for their games against us or LSU.

Here's where catching them in a neutral site may work to our advantage.

It’s the same shite as last season after losing to Alabama, lots of people saying we wouldn’t win another game. Calzada showed flashes in the 4th, we just need the OL to gel and get the RB going better.

I agree with you. Watching the Hog/Texass game... Texass had guys wide open but the balls were thrown so bad they coudln't make a play on them.

Also, Jefferson had tons of time to make throws. He dropped into the pocket and did not move his feet for 2- 3 seconds at a time. Texass had zero pressure on him. Let's see what he does when he is having to deal with a real pass rush. Texass tackling was shite level.

Calzada got pressured pretty consistently but a few times he actually could have stepped up into the pocket and had good protection but chose to roll out. He ran out of the protection and ended up being chased. This is fixable. He threw behind a lot and over people too much. Got to think this was timing and jitters.

Ags going to beat the Hogs if we can manage mid to high 20s in scoring.

He can sling it. But did it seem some throws were a little flat or low arc? I'm concerned about the defenders hands.

He was just off until the 4th Q. Threw way behind guys a lot. He overthrew Wydermyer a few times to the point where it was pointless for him to even jump up. Also Wydermyer was wide open in the middle a few times all alone 15 yards down the field but was never seen by Calzada.

Overall it just looked like Calzada wasn't ready to be taking snaps until the 4th Q. Things came together when it counted. Ags should have had 14 points in the 4th Q. Colorado was on their heels the entire 4th and it wasn't close.

Glad we have one more game before Arkansas. Calzada will be ready and our D is definitely ready.

I think this team loses a few with Calzada. As I said before, more worried about MSU than Arkansas. MSU can pass the ball, and play up tempo like KSU

Go read the thread on the Arky board about Arkansas being the biggest winner of realignment in the college football conferences.

One win over an overrated tu and they think theyre world beaters now somehow they are going to start getting better recruits just because they wont come to us with tu and ou in now????

I've never seen such delusion and I've read texass boards before. I still think we win that one and most of our other easier games, but we are going to need calzada to develop fast if we are going to win 10+ games this season.

It definitely is a case of BAS with some people. I can’t say I blame them. I get it.

My issue is - any Aggie who watched that game should be able to tell that this team loves each other and never stopped believing and playing like they would win. That’s what I’m most happy about with the Colorado performance.

We’ve been notorious for slow starts under Jimbo, and are definitely a 4th quarter team, it was stressful and ugly but I had faith we would win the whole time … something I never had under Fran, Sherman, Sumlin when we were down late.

This is also literally the best defense we’ve ever had since the year I was born. I can’t tell you how amazing it is to see our DL dominate other teams and for us to actually have talent on the secondary with bad asses flying around and knocking the hell out of the opponent.

King’s injury sucks and definitely makes winning the Alabama game an even longer shot than it already was but every other game is still completely on the table for us and within our grasp to win if the OL can step up and give Calzada space.

I’m sticking with my 10-2 prediction. 11-1 is still possible. 9-3 with a bowl win to hit 10 is still acceptable to me considering the injury setback.

No one would ever mistake Lobot as not an Aggie. Colorado Ag clearly is too. I think Moon moon is Lobot's alter.

But there are several of us on here that quite enjoy TexAgs.
