This was a bad match up for the horns physically on the LOS. Sometimes a bad match up is just a bad match up.
Figured the Hogs would pile up rushing yards but I did not think they would stop Texass offense as well as they did. That is the only surprise for me. Texass had the muffed punt and the fumbled "forward" pass. That was basically 10 points handed to Hogs.
Hogs have 4-5 losses coming... one of them to us if Calzada can hit receivers and make them honor our passing game. Texass had guys open all game. When Hogs had the ball Jefferson was a frozen statue in the Hogs pocket because Texass had zero pressure. He was accurate and should have been. He is going to have to make decisions and throws on the run vs Ags.
Ags defense is so much more physical and fast than anything they have seen this year. They can't simulate that in practice. An above average passing attack by Calzada and we beat Hogs.

I don’t think it even needs to be above average If our oline progresses this week
If we can’t block for the run then definitely need above average qb play
