Reinstatement Thread up...

Ok, here's the deal. Big Dhillip is out of the office today...he is boating on Lake Travis. He mistakenly thought Labor Day was the last Monday of August. Not sure if I am buying his excuse, but I know his arse will be working next Monday. So I will be doing reinstatements today.
For those who are suspended and reading this, there is a form that you can fill out to request reinstatement. This form can be accessed when you are suspended and try to post. A user will only be considered for reinstatement if they complete this form.
Supporters of suspended users can be character witnesses by REPLYING TO THIS POST and providing following info:
1. Username, with a link to the user's public profile page ...this is important!
2. Estimated length of suspension
3. Is this their first suspension?
4. What they did to get suspended? (please be specific and factual)
5. Have they been previously suspended for the reason indicated in No. 4?
6. A pledge not to break any rule in the future
7. Lavish praise for the admin team (limited to three sentences)

I think he is and i think its because he got the poli board a little too riled up but Im not sure

I avoid that place like the plague now. Too many thin skinned over there for my style.

Thin skin isn't the problem I have w/that board... It's the ridiculous garbage people read, link, and treat as fact. They act as if links to what amount to crackpot blogs that look like they were made on late 90s geo-cities sites are 100% legit when it's clear the bulk of them are total tin foil wrapped poo.
A while back when people were repeating every negative rumor about Sumlin and the team as if it was fact I called this board a hate worm trapped in a bubble devouring itself.
But after tooling around in the poli board during this election I see that our hate worm was more of a fart in the wind while the one living over there is a larger cousin of the sandworms from Dune and Beetlejuice coupled w/the misplaced anger of the mutated Hector Hammond from the awful Green Lantern movie and a dash of the crazed religious freak played by Marcia Gay Harden in The Mist all mushed together in a deleted scene decrying immigration of anyone w/a tan from the original Birth of a Nation.

That's also a problem, but just about every patron of PT takes him/herself way too fricking seriously, and deflection is an absolute MUST no matter what the topic. Forget having a real discussion on the issues.

Movie/TV board is probably my favorite on this whole site. Both the super serious people and the jackasses make it entertaining. Generally good information and opinions.
