Did anyone realistically expect to get all of them?

AT's predicted class, per class calculator, is a score of 317.62. That score would equal 3rd in '21, 1st in '20, 1st in '19, 2nd in '18, 2nd in '17, 1st in '16, & 1st in '15.

Any one in the Houston area with the SW2 Alternate channel (ATT U-Verse Channel: 697) can watch The Woodlands vs. Katy tonight at 7

Katy: Bobby Taylor, Malick Sylla

The Woodlands: Martrell Harris, Mabrey Mettauer (2024 QB who already has offers from LSU and Florida)

I honestly wish they wouldn't. Not until after the bye week at least when King may be ready to play again.

Brauny said awhile back recruits don't worry as much about on the field stuff as fans do, obviously it's big to have on the field success but I don't think it'll crush our class

I think it’s probably time to come to grips with the fact King is unlikely to play again this year

But why?

Here is DL's post right after it broke (the news not the leg)

quote:

A twitter report from On3's Matt Zenitz said King suffered a fractured ankle against Colorado and had surgery. That is indeed the case, per several sources. Not to get too deep into it before Fisher's presser but the one or two of you who don't think we'll see #13 the remainder of the season are wrong. I'm not sure the specifics but this feels like the Nick Starkel injury, at least in terms of a timeline. If you'll remember, Starkel returned to action several weeks later and eventually took over for then-true freshman Kellen Mond. I've seen close friends Dan Campbell and Earvin Taylor suffer similar injuries while playing for the Ags and they returned in roughly 5-7 weeks or so. Perhaps the second half of the season would be something we're looking at, if not a game or two later.

It’s tough to take him seriously with regards to stuff like this especially when he puts out a statement like that. He’s always going to put out the most optimistic timeline and scenario possible. I hope I’m wrong and King is starting against Auburn but it seems like an 8 week or so timeframe is the most optimistic of cases and not necessarily realistic. I’m also not a doctor and there hasn’t exactly been a ton of details released regarding the injury and what surgery was done that I’ve seen. I just see a lot of our fans assuming he’s going to be back after the bye and setting themselves up for disappointment in that regard

To make this recruiting related, I don’t think kids put as much stock into a single year much less single game result as fans think. We are in a great spot with still to finish this class very strong even if this year isn’t what we expected.

How many games are we going to win if we continue to only score 10 points a game? We have literally 2 TDs against p5 competition. Two. We scored twice in the first five minutes against New Mexico. In the other 2 hours and 55 minutes of play since the kent state game, we have 40 points. 40 points in essentially 3 full games and two of those were against Colorado and New Mexico

We are staring down the barrel of a disastrous season. Like miss a bowl level bad if we dont win this week

Program killing. Like our program will never recover? It would be a huge momentum killer but we’ve survived seasons like that before and not sure why you think it would relegate us to some perpetual bottom dweller this time
