That is an auto-loss. Max is garbage. King is garbage. The OL is garbage. Only redeeming QB on the roster is Weigman. But Fisher is too much of a pussy to play him

Max was wildly inconsistent game by game at LSU. But I'll take that over having the only consistency be bad throws.

King has thrown 6 picks in 90 passes over 3 years.
Max has thrown 7 picks in 527 passes over 3 years.
At minimum he should be able to protect the ball a lot more than King has been able to do which should give our running game a bit more breathing room.
As we saw last year in our loss to LSU he is a gamer who can take big hits and keep trucking and there is something about that kind of QB that can galvanize a team. Can he take us to the SEC title? Probably not. But he might be able to get us to 8 regular season wins and a Las Vegas Bowl berth vs a Pac 12 team.
Also, if you want some kool aid, as a starter he is 1-1 vs Ole Miss, 1-0 vs Miss State, and 2-0 vs Florida.

Max is indecisive. With our terrible OL that is a recipe for disaster. But I won't be watching - have things to do Saturday night

Compared to guys like Bryce Young? Sure. Compared to King? Not too sure about that. Regardless, if we are going to have an indecisive QB I'd rather have the one who protects the ball.

Max was fine and managed the game well considering the pressure Miami was able to put on him. No complaints from me. He put us in position and let us win last night.
Don't understand why our receivers can get separation across the middle. They had linebackers covering our guys tight across the middle in perfect position. Good throws that got defended very well.
Defense gave up some rushing yards but they played pretty damn good. SECw isn't full of stellar rushing games. We have enough defense if we can manage 24-28 points on offense going forward.

We did score exactly 24 points in the loss to LSU last year. Besides that, the most recent time we scored 24 or more against a P5 team? October 23 of last year vs South Carolina, woof.
24-28 points is asking a lot of Fisher’s offense still.
