The crazy thing about their whine-fest is it was the correct call!

I don't know if I'm looking forward to or fearing the melt that happens when we beat them.

Anyone tempted to create a troll account called "LSUNPC10912" and have the signature read #shortmanbad?

The whining is insane and stupid. IMO it was the wrong call. Misfortune happens to every team, get over it...c'mon most of us LSU fans are also Saints fans and are very used to it. BUT

This billboard deal is pretty awesome. And it's what makes college football great. Passionate fans.

It’s the fact that a much worse targeting play that broke a QBs collarbone was not called against a bama player the same day. It’s that the video replay crew is nothing but bama alums and Homer’s and all of them have significant bama relationships, two are REC. it’s about a bama player throwing punches and nothing happening, it’s about “all pigs being equal but some are more equal” it’s about bold faced hypocrisy and lies. It’s about how they frick us each and every mfering year on every god damn thing from scheduling to hurricane gate, to bowl selections to player eligibility, you fricking name it. We have been loyal wingmen to those mfers for decades and covered for them and helped clean up their messes. But frick them, we are not then, now or ever their ducking bitch. I would rather burn the whole mfer thing to the ground, all of it. Starting with their damn buses. It’s about fundamental fairness and respect. The same shite my ancestors grabbed muskets over 200 years ago and went to a war no one thought they could win and formed this damn nation. Did they over react, you damn right they did, but it worked out well. Whether it was bad call or not doesn’t matter anymore, we have already poured the tea in the harbor. You have to bleed a little and endure some pain for real change, but I sure as hell hope LSU is tired of sitting ar the back of the bus, because there isn’t a GD Bull Conner among these bastards anymore

I don't understand how you melt after winning. It must be miserable being an LSU fan.

It’s very easy to explain.

Since 2011 LSU fans have assumed somewhere in their minds that they suck. Part of it is the losses to Bama, but most of it is an overall narrative without optimism (3rd and Chavis, Les on downhill, Coach O backup plan hire, can’t find a QB, etc.).

This year they have a narrative that could be seen as very good (newish head coach winning big games this season) but deep down they know there is a ceiling on their potential for this season and beyond because Bama exists and is better than them (or anyone).

The melt is about them rationalizing the existence of a ceiling that in previous years they didn’t care as much about because their gaze was locked to the ground. The melt is about the fact that it doesn’t matter if or when LSU can produce a good team if it has to share a division with the greatest dynasty in the history of the sport.

Now they have a built in excuse when they lose that it wasn’t their fault, it is the fault of some conspiracy to hold them back instead a machine that was built in Tuscaloosa that they have no control over.

I’d almost say their entire fan base is one, giant, purple and yellow uterus.
But hormones only cause temporary insanity, not permanent and contemptibly pathetic whining.
It’s completely changed my view of their fans.

I didn't realize a fanbase could make the TA zoo look tame
